#ArcticGuidesEyes 3 of 10 - Fall in the #Arctic is a magical time, when the spirits of the ancients may unexpectedly visit and dance across the sky. On this trip in Western Greenland & the Canadian Arctic they suddenly appeared out of nowhere and took my breath up into the heavens with them. I stayed out on deck into the early hours in wonder, watching and trying to get a picture - not an easy task on a moving ship!
The #Arctic herself is a special experience, with or without the Northern Lights, but the #Aurora is definitely the cherry on top of the Arctic sundae.

Kirkjufell is one of the most photographed places in Iceland. There are literary queues of people with cameras there waiting usually to all get to that one same spot. So this shot is nothing new, is nothing special, is nothing original or beautiful. Its beauty has set down a long time ago, its originality is a matter of different weather. I am not proud of this shot :) So isn’t photography a medium through which one can express their unique point of view? Perhaps so it can emphasise that we all, as human beings, have something different to say?
