old avengers fics were all thor loves pop tarts, tony Literally Never Sleeps, bucky used to be a fisherman or worked at the docks and now lives with steve, coulson loves SuperNanny and idolized Jo, the only degree bruce uses is his M.D, the kitchen is never used for cooking purposes, and clint travels exclusively through the vents
and Natasha pretends not to be domesticated but secretly loves her new family’s antics (and takes part. in all of it.)… Fury showed up and personally gave them missions (also an excuse to check up on his kids)… movie night! movie night! movie night!… there was always misunderstandings, always someone getting hurt, and then there was healing and learning and the dumbest running jokes

My Tony Stark headcanons
(Everything after c*vil w*r doesn’t exists here because I say so)
- Tony has a really bad posture, as soon as he relaxes and doesn’t have to smile for the cameras he has the worst posture Steve has ever seen.
- He can’t sit normally, his lab has some of those weird chairs (yk what I’m talking about) because he works better if he’s in a completely uncomfortable position
- Tony can sing really well, but few people know it
- Once the avengers tried playing monopoly and Tony absolutely destroyed everyone without even blinking, they never made the mistake of forgetting that Stark Industries was nothing without Tony again.
- All the bots and AI’s learnt to play chess form him, Dum-E is actually the best one. He beat Steve once and Clint won’t stop bringing it up.
- Tony and Natasha have a shared love for Queen, you can’t tell me otherwise
- Also, Tony tends to lean into people just the tiniest bit when sleepy, and Natasha was the first to notice, so when he comes up form a 72 hours binge Natasha sits next to him and lets him rest on her shoulder. He’s so tired that he only realized what happened 2 days later.
- On this note, Tony is touch starved
- Once when Clint was hiding in the vents because of a nightmare, he suddenly found Tony on his nest with some chocolate. “How did you know?” “I designed these things for you birdbrain, do you really think vents are naturally this big?”
- Tony minds works faster than his body, sometimes this gets so overwhelming that he completely shut offs for a few hours.
- No one knows for sure how many languages he can speak. Despite being a scientist at heart, he loves the beauty of different ways to speak, either soft Italian, smooth Japanese or sharp Russian.
- He also can’t stand not knowing what it’s being said since Afghanistan, so in the last few years he learnt languages that not even Nat knows about.
- The only thing he could never get the hang on is playing the guitar AND IT MAKES HIM SO MAD
- Rhodey keeps a video of Tony crying in the middle of their MIT dorm surrounded by a bunch of tabs
- All the avengers have ridiculous codes for everything in the tower, Steve hates it, Thor Loves it
- Bruce lectures Tony in lab safety and Tony calls bullshit on that knowing Bruce is almost as messy as he is
