#aziraphale x crowley
I’m very grateful for the Gomens fandom as it exists today, but I have to wonder what it was like in the 90s/early 2000s in the beginnings of the internet and pre-adaptation!! If there’s any GO fandom olds around I’d love to hear your stories

The community was small in comparison to now - so, so small. The major hub for posting fic and having meta discussions was a LiveJournal community called lower_tadfield. When I first read the novel in late 2004 and became part of this community almost immediately, the body of work out there was such that you could literally read all of the fic in a day.
New fic being posted to lower_tadfield was a big deal. We were a tiny fandom building our literary tradition in a highly interactive fashion. We all tended to read each other’s content and comment. Say what you will about LJ as a platform, but the communities there were crucial to the formation and growth of so many new and growing fandoms.
It’s surreal to me now, knowing I could once track almost everything in this fandom’s landscape without too much difficulty. The artwork was incredible. I would love to hear what other folks who were there with me at the start have to say, though, too!

I sometimes wonder if the good in Crowley actually draws attention from other Demons.
He’s obviously an outsider because of his love of human’s and his unnatural imagination but there is also a spark of good, dare I say holiness, still lurking in him. I wonder what would have happened if Crowley had stayed in Hell instead of going up to Eden. Would the good spark in him die eventually? Would the other demons feel it?

A concept I wanted to share with you: Vicious but with Aziraphale and Crowley. That’s all.
Fifties, so fashionable fifties! Crowley and Aziraphale in fancy haute couture ball gowns like Dior or Balenciaga to celebrate, I don’t know, their love to the world, perhaps.
I don’t know what is that, i just bought gouache colours, blanked out and here it is, so don’t juge, don’t think too much about it either.

I got sick yesterday that’s why today I’m spending my day in bed so do Crowley and Aziraphale.
Oh, I don’t know. Colour is not really my thing, I reckon, but I tried. Aziraphale is extra so she’s wearing a fancy headpiece and she’s into 50s, Crowley is just cool, as always. They are my ineffable wives, that’s it.

You know what? I regret nothing. I’m a simple human being, I ship Aziraphale and Crowley and if they have to kiss, they kiss and I draw them kissing.
I like 18th century and the esthétique of that era and I think, it really suits Aziraphale.

AU, where Crowley looks like Davina and Aziraphale is a queen of 50s, is my canon. Also I really like an idea that the angel is tempting Crowley, not otherwise, because Aziraphale definitely knows all about pleasures and hedonism.
