Am I the only one that works on one fic at a time? Like I can’t work on several stuff simultaneously because I know that a wip will end up being abandoned because I’ll loose interest in it as my attention had shifted into something else [it’s honestly shocking how quickly I can loose interest in something rip all those wips]
Like I have so many fic ideas and I can’t start it till I finish this one HC I’m writing the struggle real lol…
As soon as I start writing a fic, I try to get it done asap because I feel like I’ll loose interest and abandon it that’s why I suck at multi-chaptered fics too…the commitment lol. Like I planned 2 whole multi-chaptered fics last year this time..wrote one chapter for the one story and abandoned it . The other I said I was gonna start writing now in the holidays and it has yet to happen..let’s hope it happens on day cuz it’s an amazing mafia! Me: A Chinese to English translator, stares at Chinese characters for at least six hours per translation, was in a well known Chinese school, and Mandarin and Cantonese are my mother tongues. Walks around in a Chinese filled city on a daily basis.
Also me: Wait how do you write ice-cream in Chinese?
Yesterday: I texted my mom saying we can order Buddha (菩萨) instead of pizza (披萨)..
season 5 starts today and honestly this is still the best version of miraculous that has ever been created, and it only lasts for like 3 minutes on youtube, and I’m sad

good morning i looked at this for three seconds too long and had the very ridiculous thought that duvall wouldn’t have known he was a dad yet on the jade moon and if chine is insistent on giving It to duvall (apparently in both versions of the scene) then their having thought fondly of duvall as a potential second parent isn’t that far fetched??
(and they answered my post mortem question but cut the “if chine was acting rationally on their beliefs, when did they decide raising It was no longer their purpose?” part out (i can understand why lol but i didn’t think they’d touch any of that question), so they had their chance to establish a different reason….)

And, um, a thing I’ve learned from them is that people tell stories about monsters… we had like an exact phrase for this… um, that hearing that there are horrible creatures everywhere and we dress them up as fairy tales, that, like, that’s the thing that’s a big part of that character, and hearing that, like, “Oh, maybe that means horrible creatures are, like, less common than I think, or that it’s like – maybe everything’s a horrible creature.”
Austin: Right, right, right, sure.
Art: And we’re all just – just dressing on top of that. "
