My final image of Suntup’s Neuromancer edition. Molly discovering one of the the cloned bodies of Jane Tessier-Ashpool. I tried to make the cyber console look like a 90s gaming system! Oil on panel, 14 inches (35cm) http://suntup.press/neuromancer
One more Neuromancer illustration I did for Suntup Editions. The gothic computer terminal that will combine Wintermute and Neuromancer, placed on the virtual beach of Case’s mind. Oil on panel, 16 inches (40 cm)
Very pleased to have a painting in the “Le Rêve” group exhibition at the lovely Haven Gallery. Thank you Erica Berkowitz for including me in the show! :)
Now for something completely different!. Last spring I was working on a video game pitch together with a producer. A modern re-envisioning of classic beat-em-ups like Final Fight, Double Dragon and Streets of Rage. Now in HD and with hand drawn graphics and animations. I created a lot of art and tried to emulate that colorful 90s Capcom look I’m very fond of. While I received great interest and inquiries from several publishers, the project was put on hiatus as it became clear that I’d have to self-finance a playable demo before I could move forward. For now the pitch is on hold but might resurface someday as a Kickstarter, Patreon or if I find a talented programmer enthusiastic enough to devote their spare time towards a demo. In the meantime I’ll share a few glimpses over the next few days.
Here’s my piece for the Heavy Metal Magazine anniversary Show at Copro Gallery. Tried to go for a 70s vibe. Heavy Metal Magazine is such a towering palace of art and there are some incredible names and legends included in this exhibition. Very honored to be in the show.
