Sargon Eregesh Second of the Ezekarion

Sargon Eregesh was a member of the Word Bearers Legion who was born on Colchis and became a Chaplain of the Brazenhead Chapter. He took part in the Horus Heresy and fought in the Battle of Terra, where he suffered a grievous Plasma Weapon wound that left him unable to speak, but he continued to telepathically communicate through a reanimated corpse.

After the Traitors were defeated and fled into the Eye of Terror, Sargon disowned the teachings of Lorgar and became a servant of Abaddon. During the subsequent Legion War, Abaddon dispatched Sargon to gather reliable allies for his coming war against Fabius Bile and his clone of Horus. Sargon succeeded in finding Falkus Kibre, Lheorvine Ukris, and Iskandar Khayon and giving them the location of both Abaddon and the Vengeful Spirit before being caught in an ambush by the Emperor’s Children. Sargon survived the battle against the Emperor’s Children and continued to serve Abaddon into the 1st Black Crusade and rose to become a Lord-Prelate of the Black Legion.

Falkus Kibre, First of the Ezekarion.

Falkus Kibre, nicknamed Widowmaker, was a Captain of the Luna Wolves/Sons of Horus’ First Company. Today, he is Black Legion warrior, Commander of the Aphotic Blade, servant of Abaddon the Despoiler. One of the founders of the Black Legion.

Evolution of Horus Lupercal

Three different versions of the Primarch Horus, from different times. Horus Lupercal, Horus Warmaster, and Horus The Arhi Traitor.

Some Black Legion traitor marines I did up. Experimenting with the Chaos aesthetic is fun, since there are so many ways you can go about it. Spikes are still mandatory though.

Can’t help but think about Iskandar Khayon and Telemachon Lyras jamming to this song as they walk through the streets of an invaded city.

The Black Legion reads to me as an evil found family so all these Pride songs feel like them.

Black Legionnaires courting Imperial Fists and Black Templars, wanting a Sigismund to their Abaddon, Rogal Dorn to their Horus.

Because those two chapters are among the most stubbornly loyal, the rate of success is abysmal and the Loyalists often end up used as Daemon hosts or harvested for parts. Sigismund chose death over joining his ex boyfriend, after all.

Dark setting yo.

⚠ Warning: The following narrative is so heretical that a sanctified locket will be necessary to continue reading without falling under the influence of ruinous powers.
In summary, when the “Emperor” reached his main objective of conquering a large part of the galaxy and integrating the largest number of human worlds into his Galactic Empire, he decided out of exhaustion to return to the sacred “Terra” to secretly continue his master plan; Abandoning the leadership of the “Great Galactic Crusade” the Emperor himself ascended to his most worthy son to succeed him as the new “Warlord” and future conqueror of the Galaxy in his absence; The chosen son who received the honor of leading the armies and continuing the Crusade fell on the shoulders of the charismatic Primarch “Horus Lupercal”.
For a time the noble “Horus” led his father’s armies with distinction in the most remote areas of the galaxy, ignoring the hidden dangers that watched him, the gods of warp chaos had waited for their moment to act against the “Emperor” his greatest enemy but they were very weakened from not eating human souls for a long time so they decided to influence the weak minds of the exhausted, the marginalized and offended warriors who lost trust in the Emperor. The stain of corruption soon spread in each legion until it seduced with self-centered promises the mind of the Primarch “Horus” who accepted a vile pact with the demons to be the new Emperor of the corrupt humanity. (Initiating the Horus Heresy.)
The civil war that raged throughout the Imperium of Mankind was unmatched by later conflicts and the demons of Chaos feasted on innocent souls until the day the corrupted soul of the warlord “Horus” was erased from eternity for his disappointed and sad Father (The Emperor). Amidst all the Chaos and destruction the Imperium of mankind endured to see its golden age come to an abrupt end with the superstition and heresy of the legions that betrayed the Imperium. (Morally wounded by a demonic infection, the “Immortal” Emperor was admitted to his “Golden Throne” as life support, but his flesh decomposed over the millennia.)
As additional information, the heresy of the Primarch “Horus” is so relevant until the events of the 41-42 millennium that his ancient legion of the “lunar wolves” later renamed “Sons of Horus” (the genetically modified super-humans) followed him and they supported until they became a cursed legion under demonic possession that lost all kind of military coercion after the death of the traitor Primarch. Exiled and hunted for annihilation by Imperial mandate, a new leader rose to lead the broken legions of traitors with the title of “Abaddon the Despoiler” champion of Absolute Chaos; Under the fist of Commander ‘Abaddon’ the sons of 'Horus’ renounced the name of their failed Primarch to make a new evil start as 'the Black Legion’.
The Black Legion pursues the whims of their demon gods to curry favor with their dark masters with bloody rituals that spread like a torch of extermination over the loyal sons of the God Emperor. The ranks of the Black Legion are made up of cannibalistic mutants, warp demons, alien slaves and traitors who unite to spread chaos across the galaxy. (Its symbol is the eight-pointed star better known as “the star of Chaos” and its infinite possibilities.)
Finally a quote from the traitorous legions: “Innocence Proves Nothing.”

I wanted a new avatar. Long chose whether to make a headless Tarik Torgaddon (whom I paint a lot, but do not spread) or simply Luna Wolves.
And I made Tarik in full vestment.
And then, for the company and the Sons of Horus with the Black Legion.

They love “red hair”.
