Evolution of Horus Lupercal
Three different versions of the Primarch Horus, from different times. Horus Lupercal, Horus Warmaster, and Horus The Arhi Traitor.
Visions of The Great Crusade. Young Lorgar Aurelian and Kor Phaeron on Colchis.
This is a painting by an unknown remembrancer, from the time of The Great Crusade. The picture depicts not an illustration of real events, but a idea of remembrancer, about events that him have never seen, but heard and read, like realism artists of the 19th century, who tried to depict Ancient Greek and Biblical myths.
P.S. The artist was brutally murdered by Kor Phaeron, due to “blasphemy”, in the time of the Horus Heresy. ‘A mortal doesn’t have the right to depict of the Divine.’
Glowy Ferrus and Fulgrim
I’m still on the glowy-pic-roll. And since @relax-and-read-on had this neat little headcanon-post for their AU for those two guys yesterday, I could put my evil powers of 80s neon to good use.
I’ve got mail!
I did an art trade with @sincethewreck. I did a drawing of their OC (will post if permissioned? ). And today I got mail…. The american candy got lose inside the package, but the main goods and their delicate wrapping weren’t affected by the lemony onslaught. Look at him! Look at my beautiful Primarch! See how he sparkles! Isn’t he gorgeous? I’m totally floored. This embroidery is stunningly beautiful. Thank you so much!
The Victorian Warhammer-Alternate Universe: Mr. Jaghatai Khan
The Khan concludes the Primarchs. Now I’ve drawn each one of them for this setting and I’ll post them together soon. I really love this AU and I hope I can continue drawing stuff for it. At least one of the Captains is already planned (I’m working with an Imperial Fist-guy here, so it’s obvious who it’ll be. )
And that’s what @sonofdorn-vii gave me for Jaghatai:
Jaghatai Khan claims to have the fastest ships in the known world. Marked with his personal Lightning Sigil, his cutters ship linen from India, ink from China and coffee from the West Indies at record breaking speeds. Using his considerable resources, Jaghatai can import the best feeds and supplements to support his other passion; horse racing. From imbibing ginger to twitches made from whalebone, he’ll try anything to make his horses faster. A thoroughbred from his own personal stables, White Scar, will compete against the King’s horse, Custodian, at Cheltenham in the spring. Little is known about how a poor boy from the steppes of Asia became one of the most powerful Trade Envoys in the world, but any that meet him are immediately charmed by his amiable nature. Generous with time and coin, the Great Khan, as he’s named in quiet whispers, has made quite the impression in Society circles, even catching the eye of a certain notorious Viscount on occasion…
