the three of us (@rumue, @ambivartence,@avizou) are hosting ghiblipop, a studio ghibli themed kpop fanart event! ghiblipop is an open event; no membership to any nets required.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1. reblog this post (following this blog is optional but we’d appreciate it <3)
2. post your work(s) during June 1 - June 15 (the Studio Ghibli anniversary date!) you can submit as many pieces as you want as long as it isn’t after June 15 11:59 PMKST.
3. use our event tag (#ghiblipop) when posting
REQUIREMENTS:
- must contain elements from at least one ghibli film OR be inspired by the ghibli art-style/aesthetic
- must include or be related to at least one member of a kpop group or a soloist of any gender
- all work must be as sfw as the source material (*as some films deal with heavy topics, exceptions will be allowed for specific situations as long as there are content warnings. please ask one of the event coordinators for more details if you’re unsure!)
**we’ve created a discord server for the event! joining the server is optional but you can discuss your ideas/wips, drop direct links to your event submissions, and get reminders to keep you on track! (*server will close once the event ends)
we will be reblogging all posts in the event tag provided they follow the guidelines. at the end of the event, we’ll post a masterlist of everyone’s submissions! we’re looking forward to seeing what you create <3
