Decided to make my panda an actual character.
Elemental magic and martial arts. Her bamboo staff is topped with a focusing gem that allows her to channel magic through it for various effects, eg: forming a blade that turns her staff into a polearm.
She has been wearing her outfit out for years, pants didn’t fit anymore- no matter what, so she ditched them. Top still works (barely), so no reason to waste her limited money on a new outfit. Money’s better spent on food. Or drinks. Mostly drinks, probably.
