Brock Lesnar has one of the industry’s best talkers do all his talking for him, and WWE have done a shitty job of setting up this year’s Wrestlemania, but this spot is so well done.

1. You 100% believe every single word this man says, including the parts where he’s all “I can destroy anyone” and “I don’t care about the fans”
2. From the CM Punk playbook, the overemphasized “maybe I’ll leave the company with the belt” narrative is giving this match stakes.
3. I am convinced: I want to see Brock Lesnar in “defend” mode for as long as possible.

I loved that Royal Rumble crowd in Philadelphia chanting for Brock. It’s like watching a gladiator fight and rooting for the lion to kill everyone.

‪Fans: #WrestleMania 34 looks great on paper. There’s no way WWE could mess this up.‬

‪WWE:‬

‪WWE keeps putting Roman Reigns in the worst situations. I don’t think they actually like him

I hope The Undertaker comes back out and beats up the two people who washed him at WrestleMania.

  • Braun Strowman destroys Roman Reigns again. With Roman Reigns already declaring himself the #1 Contender for the Universal Champion at SummerSlam, I have to wonder what a loss to Strowman would mean? I suspect a Triple Threat match at SummerSlam between Braun, Reigns, and the Universal Champion.

  • After a month of hype, the showdown between Goldust and R-Truth was underwhelming. I have to be honest, I was and still am disappointed with the end result.  would much rather have seen Goldust attack R-Truth backstage than have that beating, before the bell, be broadcast in the ring.

  • I’m a Los Angeles Lakers’ fan so getting to see Lonzo Ball in front of the hometown crowd fascinated me. Lonzo appears to be an asset to the Lakers franchise. His father, however, does not; and it is safe to say he did not benefit WWE either. I don’t know what was planned for The Ball Family on Monday Night Raw, but the segment was off-the-hook (in a bad way).
Levar seemingly said/did whatever he wanted; essentially making a mockery of WWE. The Miz and Maryse deserve props for doing as best they could to keep the segment on-track. Thankfully, Dean Ambrose came out and initiated the following match. This was not the worse celebrity segment in WWE history, yet it was far from the best. At the moment, it was funny; in retrospect, it was a bad look for WWE.

  • Big Cass tricked Enzo into thinking their team was going to stay together. It was surprising that the crowd actually believed the false reunion. Going forward, I wonder if Enzo will maintain star status in WWE or will he be forgotten? It looks like Big Cass, on the other hand, has a bright future ahead of him.

  • For the second meeting in a row, Samoa Joe got the better of Brock Lesnar; this time choking him out with the Coquina Clutch. WWE is doing a great job presenting the Clutch as a dangerous hold. I still don’t know who will leave Great Balls Of Fire with the Universal Championship but based on the build-up to this match, I suspect this rivalry is only beginning.

  • You had to know Monday Night Raw was going to do something to undermine Smackdown Live’s Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder rematch; so at first, I scoffed at the idea of the Gauntlet Match but by the end of the show, they [the Women’s roster] won me over. Nia Jax was the star. Not only did she wrestle for over 30 minutes, she dominated two former champions before falling to The Boss.
An Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks series could put Raw’s division back on the map. It would free Bayley to rebuild and regroup her character, away from the championship, while Nia Jax starts to breaks away from the pack.

Last week, I was head-over-heels excited to see Brock Lesnar meet face-to-face with Samoa Joe on RAW. The thought of a vengeful Brock attacking Samoa Joe for what happened to Paul Heyman had me excited. Well, Raw began with a great segment Brock and Samoa did have a fight where Joe was able to knock down Brock with a kick, but the two were pulled apart, and that was it.

I was expecting; hoping more would have come from the BEAST and the DESTROYER. Why Brock only did one segment made zero sense to me. I had hoped Lesnar would have spent the three-hour show, terrorising the roster while slowly hunting down Joe; the show ending with a big fight. That is what I envisioned. That is how I would have done it, but WWE had different plans.

I was, however, thankful that Samoa Joe did not waver from cold-as-ice persona. Joe did not back from Brock. That in and of itself is a good thing. With Raw struggling to put on exciting shows, it would have made sense to take advantage of a rare Brock appearance and give him more than one segment.

Perhaps the next appearance will mean more. With only four weeks before Great Balls Of Fire, WWE needs to step things up.

Following his debut attacks on Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn, RAW has done very little to make Samoa Joe look like a big deal. Even though he won the #1 Contender’s match at Extreme Rules, I still had doubts that WWE would make his an interesting character.

The segment he had with Paul Heyman on Monday Night Raw changed everything. It was the best moment on New Era RAW since the first Sasha Banks/Charlotte main event. Seeing Joe brutalise Heyman the same way BROCK LESNAR has done to others in the past set a meaningful example of Joe being a ruthless threat.

I am looking forward to next week’s RAW where Brock Lesnar is scheduled to show up and “unleash the beast”.

Yes, many people hate the fact that Brock Lesnar is featured so prominently on WWE program despite making limited appearances, but that’s another story for an another time.
For this particular tale, the fact that he was away allowed Joe the space to destroy Heyman with the Coquina Clutch. This allows a vengeful Brock a reason to hunt down Samoa Joe, thus reminding people why he is THE BEAST INCARNATE rather than the man who lost to Goldberg in a matter of seconds.

We know WWE is putting energy behind Finn Balor and Roman Reigns as its top stars, however, Samoa Joe is the man who should be presented as the one to lead the company. Only Joe comes across as a man who could stop Brock Lesnar; injure Lesnar.
Nobody else has dared to come at Lesnar and Heyman this particular way. That means something. Joe is not caught up in the mystique of BROCK. He is not hesitant to provoke THE BEAST.

I am looking forward to Monday’s broadcast. In a fantasy scenario, I would like to see Joe get the upper hand and actually lay out Lesnar, on-air. Their match is going to be huge; its lead up, however, needs a more personal element. A chase towards delayed revenge (Brock’s) works for me.

gXp WrestleMania 34 Predictions

So, it’s here – WrestleMania 34 is tomorrow and the WWEwill (hopefully) put together one of the best cards of the year. The sheer number of matches that are on the card this year (thirteen total matches) and the seven-hour run time of the show means that there is a lot of action to be had with this event. With nine championships on the line throughout the night, two high-profile tag team…

10 WWE Daniel Bryan Dream Matches I Want to See

To be honest, I still can’t believe it – Daniel Bryan (real name Bryan Danielson) has been cleared by the WWEto return to in-ring competition. After being forced to retire from in-ring action back in February 2016 due to concussion related injuries, he has gone through numerous test and studies, both for the WWE and outside of their system, to prove that he was healthy enough to return as an…

Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio in a No Disqualification Match forWWE Championship: So many people stating Rey Mysterio will upset Lesnar with the help of Cain Velasquez. But I don’t see Rey walking out of Survivor Series as the champion. Rey will give Lesnar a fight but in the end The Beast will come out on top. Winner: Brock Lesnar.

‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan in a Singles Match for the Universal Championship: The Fiend isn’t losing and that’s that. Winner: ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.

Adam Cole vs Pete Dunne in a Singles Match for the NXT Championship: I just hope Adam Cole is alive and well to appear for this match. This match will be an opportunity for Pete Dunne showcase his skills in front of a much bigger audience. But Adam Cole isn’t dropping the title at Survivor Series. Winner: Adam Cole.

Triple Threat Women’s Champions Match- Becky Lynch(Raw) vs Bayley(SmackDown) vs Shayna Baszler(NXT): Unless a big swerve happens like Ronda Rousey returning I don’t see Baszler winning. A lose wouldn’t hurt Becky Lynch. Bayley has been overlooked when it came to this match and a win means she could make a huge statement. This is definitely a match to look out for because there is a lot of ways in which this could turn out. Winner: Bayley.

Triple Threat Tag Team Champions Match- The Viking Raiders(Raw) vs The New Day(SmackDown) vs The Undisputed Era(NXT): Heart says Undisputed Era. Brain says Viking Raiders. UE coming from their WarGames match could play into this affair. I don’t see New Day winning this. UE will give a standout performance but it won’t be their night. Winner: The Viking Raiders.

Triple Threat Mid Card Champions Match- AJ Styles(Raw) vs Shinsuke Nakamura(SmackDown) vs Roderick Strong(NXT): This is the match I’m most looking forward to. These three guys could steal the show. The epitome of unpredictability. Sami Zayn could get his hands dirty and help Nakamura pick the win. Rody can go toe to toe with the very best to the entirety of a match. But the WarGames fatigue can prove to be costly. Styles can put on a thriller with any given pro wrestler. Lets see how this plays out. I want Rody to win and a win for him means Raw, SmackDown and NXT are equal on scoreboard. Winner: Roderick Strong.

Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match- Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Natalya, The Kabuki Warriors & Sarah Logan) vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke & Carmella) vs. Team NXT (Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair & Io Shirai): The SmackDown team isn’t cohesive from what we saw last week in SmackDown. NXT team is coming in hot especially after Ripley’s win last week and that WarGames match. Ripely is looking unstoppable at the moment. Raw has got a solid team. But, Charlotte and Natalya are feuding with Kabuki Warriors at the moment. So maybe we can expect a back stab from the Kabuki Warriors to add to that rivalry. Again tough one to call. Just because of the momentum Ripley is on right now I think… Winner: Team NXT.

Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match- Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Ricochet & Drew McIntyre) vs. Team SmackDown (Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, King Corbin, Mustafa alI & Shorty G) vs. Team NXT (TBD): Well, I don’t see Roman Reigns getting pinned. Unless King Corbin pulls something off I just can’t imagine Roman Reigns getting pinned. Kind of the same with Seth Rollins. Perhaps, it will down to these two men. I want to see WALTER in Team NXT though. That will be huge. As much as I want NXT to win, unless a huge swerve happens like Rollins or Owens turning on their Raw team, team NXT isn’t going to win. Winner: Team SmackDown.

Well my predictions mean it will be a 2-2 tie between SmackDown & NXT. I don’t think that’s happening. There will be a winner so I’m sure this might go wrong.
