Summary: Bucky is blinded by love from his girlfriend who is secretly just using him for good looks and money. Elara loves Bucky as a friend until she hung out with him more and the feelings for him grew.

“Trying to make it to school kills me Corell.” Elara sits on the edge of the couch putting on her black and white dunks. It’s 7:30 in the morning, school started it at 8:30 sharp.
“Girl it’s just 2 more months of school before you graduate. Don’t let senioritis consume you whole.” Corell poured hazelnut creamer into her coffee. Elara fixed on her red curls in the mirror. Her outfit was a black romper.
“Sis that mf done swallowed me already. Where my keys ?”
As Elara walked past Corell pointed at the hook near the door. El kissed her big sister on the cheek and grabbed the essentials that she needed then left for school.

“bestie what it do!” Elara walked up to her bestie as she does every morning near the 600 lockers. It was a lot of students that attended her school which why they found somewhere link.
Kaylee Jinsu had been Elara best friend since 9th grade. “I’m convinced Thor is into me.”
The pair walked side by side to breakfast. “Why you say that?” Elara looked up from her phone every so often so she wouldn’t run into anything.
“He messaged me on instagram on some friend type shit. Wait-“ Her phone buzzed and it created a little smile on her face. “Ignore that bullshit I just said. I met Thor last year because he was friendly to me first. We’re in the friend zone and I really like him.”
Elara furrowed her eyebrow in confusion,”Why are y’all still in the friend zone? Have he shown you energy that he’s feeling you back?”
Kaylee scratch the side of her next, “He’s fingered me, we’ve made out-“
“I’m going to stop you right there bestie. That’s a red flag. He’s toxicccc.” They walked in the cafeteria deep in conversation joining the line of students that also wanted breakfast.
They sat down at the table after being served two waffles, sausage, eggs and apple juice. “Oouh bestie today they got us right on breakfast.” Kaylee dipped her waffle in syrup as Elara ate on her eggs a bit.
“Girl what! I’ma be so sleepy in first block.”
“Elara!” A deep voice that belonged to Bucky made his way closer to the table. El’s smile grew seeing her other best friend who she have yet to talk to today.
“James you was real M.I.A this morning. Surprised you still my bestie.”
“I’m sorry Elara, I was busy this morning doing some shit with my pops.” He kissed her cheek, “I just came to talk to you, grab a juice then head to class.”
Elara’s cheeks turned red, “Okay Bucky enjoy your day.” Bucky ruffled Kaylee’s hair, smirking. “I will. Oh and Kay? Thor said Good morning.”
Kaylee cheeks grew red while swatting his hands away, “Bye Bucky, you play so much!” She thought he was being petty but in honesty Thor asked him to say that.
After Bucky left, The girls sat there for a minute talking. Their conversation died down a bit after hearing her best friend name in someone’s mouth.
“Bucky’s girlfriend been posting on her close friends that he is the example dude on how use them for only money and arm candy.”
Elara’s leg shook in anger hearing that shit. Bucky loves Rydee because they’ve been together since 10th grade year. Kaylee grabbed Elara’s hand pulling her from the table before anything broke loose.
“Kaylee you heard that shit ? Rydee been using Bucky for his money. I’m going to beat her ass.” She rubbed her lips together trying to calm down but it’s not working.
“Yeah I heard that shit. She wrong as fuck for that because Bucky actually likes her. When you planning on beating her ass?”
“At Lunch.”

Eventually the best friends separated for classes until it was time for seniors lunch block. “Hey Steve!” Elara kissed his cheek then dapped up the rest of the gang around the table. “Where’s Bucky?”
“Sitting with Hoedee.” Clint pointed his fork in the direction of Bucky sitting at a lunch table with Rydee hugged up to him and all of her friends over there. It was only Loki, Clint, Steve and Tony at the table.
“Should’ve known.” Elara sat in the empty space between Loki and Tony. She glanced down at their plates trying to see which one was appetizing.“Which station you got the chicken nuggets from??” She pointed at Tony’s plate.
He dipped a chicken nugget it in ketchup then plopped it in his mouth, “Near the pizza but I forgot the name of it. Want one?” He held out one towards her.
“Yeah I wanna see what they taste like.” When she went to grab it, Tony plopped it in his mouth with a devious smirk growing.
Elara jaw dropped for a second then she glared. “You greedy mf!” She reached forward trying to grab one as same time Tony tried to block it.
“Stark give me one !”
“No! I want all of mine!”
“Tony!”
“Elara!” He mocked back.
They looked like little kids with chicken nugget crumbs over their hands from fighting over it. Amused, Steve held out an chicken nugget from his plate “Here El.”
The glare went from Tony to Steve, “You had one this whole time?!” She huff not even wanting it anymore. Steve laughed, “Because you didn’t ask me, you asked Tony out of all people at the table.”
Elara smacked her lips, “You do be making points Steve.” Her phone buzzed grabbing her attention.

This is the end. Elara happiness dropped seeing her best friend off the market. I mean yeah she’s happy for her best friend but she couldn’t help feel alone. Kaylee wasn’t going to drop her but it probably meant she wasn’t going to always be available. El cleared her frown and put on the best smile for her best friend.
“Kay?? What in the hell is going on today? Like it is so eventful on this Thursday.” El pointed at their joined hands. Kaylee blushed,
Kaylee blushed, “I’ll tell you later Elara, you know I am.” Thor flexed his muscles to the guys and the cheered for him.
“Congrats on the relationship dude!” Steve dapped up Thor. Kaylee sat down by Elara getting comfortable while Thor sat beside Loki after doing their handshake.
“What’s up Loki!”
“Hey Thor!”
“Where’s Bucky?” The long blonde asked for his other brother. The whole table in unison, pointed behind them.
“Hoedee.”
Kaylee snorted and the whole table burst into laughter. El glanced over at her best friend, honestly missing him. He’s been busy all week with his dad til they’ve barely facetimed each other. She saw Rydee rub up and down his arm, she couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Jealous? Pfft Elara is the type of person who is far from jealously. Or is she ?
In slow motion, she watched Rydee place a kiss on the corner of Bucky’s lips. That’s it! She couldn’t sit there and watch some gold digger kiss on her man. That shit sent her over the edge and hating to admit it herself she knew why.
All she saw was red.
El slammed her book bag down on the table getting up. “Lara??” Kaylee got up from her seat following behind her. “Oh we ready??”
“You damn right we is.” Lara made way over to Rydee table. Kaylee crossed her arms, not losing eye contact on Rydee. Bucky glanced up to his best friend from his phone, “Best? Hey, I was just finna text-“
Elara and Kaylee stared down on Rydee but Ry wasn’t going down without a fight so she stood up too.
“Bitch you think you’re going to use my best friend for his money and not think I’ll do anything??!! Are you fucking dumb?!?!”
“Elara shut the fuck up cause you’re not going to do anything about it!”
“Oh baby we gone do everything about it, don’t fucking play!” Kaylee spoke up, taking her ear rings out. Another one of Rydee’s friend stood up too. The cafeteria was still rowdy from the other kids so not a lot of people was aware of what was going on.
The boys watched from afar, completely confused on what the hell going on. Bucky stood up, just as confused as his friends. “Elara what is going on? What’s the reason on why you walking up to Rydee like this??”
Elara pointed at Rydee, anger written all over her face.“Tell him Rydee! Tell him that you been using-“
Rydee lurched forward aiming to Elara’s face but El’s fist connected to Ry’s face first. Punches were thrown left and right but Ry slipped on a bookbag so she fell backwards which had Elara on top.
Rydee’s friend inched closer to the fight but Kay kept watched the whole time. She went over to the friend “Oh bitch you trying to jump in?!” Kaylee grabbed her hair, pulling her to the ground. “Bitch don’t you ever think you can jump in my best friend fight!”
The two fights caught everyone attention and the cafeteria erupted into a lot of commotion. Bucky had enough of the fighting from Elara, he grabbed her waist trying to get her off. “Elara let her go!”
He didn’t understand what was the whole fight about. Bucky was upset that El fought Rydee for nothing. He had a lot of questions to ask both of them. “El stop!”
Bucky’s strength successfully pulled El off but it wasn’t enough to contain her. “Bitch I’m not finished with you!!” Rydee yelled as a teacher held her back. Both girls had a scratch or two on their faces.
“I’m forever ready you stupid bitch. You knew you were fucking wrong to do MY best friend like that!!” She thrashed around in Bucky’s arm cause every piece of her wanted Rydee head tore off.
It be them damn light skins that wanna fuck over the good guys. Bucky held on to her waist, with all the moving Elara was still in his arms. He pulled her into the hallway, not even upset because he wanted to know what’s going on.
“Elara calm the hell down and tell me what happened? What is you talking about with Rydee?! I’ve asked that question about a thousand times and no fucking answer! Plus you’re fighting her over this means this some deep shit so what is it?”Bucky ‘s angry but determined expression stared into Elara’s chocolate eyes.
She closed her eyes taking in a deep breath, not knowing how he will take this. Now realizing that she cause this mess without even knowing how Bucky would react. Shit! All because she was jealous.
The guys walked out the cafeteria excluding Kaylee and Thor. Steve wanted to speak up but the argument looked heated.
“This morning I overheard some girls say that Rydee has been using for you money and good looks. I went a little deeper and found out she’s still with Martin.”
Bucky heart sank, he didn’t know if it was true or not. He didn’t want to believe it. “Th-That doesn’t makes sense El. Rydee didn’t-” Ry was Bucky’s first relationships since he had lost his arm in a car wreck. Yeah Elara was in the picture but only as friends.
What El told him stuck in his head, “You can’t believe stuff you hear Elara. Why are you trying to sabotage my relationship? You fought her for no reason!”
Elara looked at Bucky in disbelief “I had a reason! No don’t you fucking dare take up for that gold digging bitch!” The anger kicked back in. “Bucky ain’t no fucking information like that is just going to float around school as a rumor.”
“Everything’s a fucking rumor. A real best friend would’ve just told me personally instead of fighting my girlfriend. You don’t have to fight all the time Elara!” Bucky got closer and their eyes never broke contact. He was angry for not knowing if this information was true and he’s taking out on the wrong person. His heart was telling no but his head just wanted him to keep going.
“Buck!” Steve jumped end cause they’re friendship was on the edge. “Both of you just chill out on this right now.”
“You hear your fucking self right?! You know what everybody can’t handle a real bitch like me so I’ll do you a favor and leave. She did you dirty, I took your side and beat her ass cause I’m your best friend plus overprotective of you and you’re mad with me?” She shook her hands trying not to put her hands on him. Elara’s heart was just torn from what he was saying. “I’ll chill out when he take his head out of Rydee’s ass.”
“Fuck you Elara cause you don’t know how I really feel!” Bucky balled his fist, and that’s when everyone intervened. Tony held back Elara who fist were balled as well.
“Fuck you Bucky!” She tried to move but Tony got in the way. “Stark you can move cause he’s pushing it!”
“No you two need to cool it. You guys obviously need some time apart!” Feeling in defeat when Tony didn’t move, El flipped Bucky off. She nodded her head as her eyes filled with tears.
The principal opened the door pointing at El, “You come with me.” Elara followed her without protest to the office.

Elara laid into bed, her feelings for Bucky were everywhere. She liked him but the way he acted today, obviously showed that he wasn’t into her.
Her love life was hard and not being with her parents made it harder. In her side nightstand, El reached down grabbing an old coach purse which held what she needed. 5 minutes later she was done rolling up.

The facetime call answered with Kaylee sitting on her back porch.
“You done rolling up?”
“Yes, just looking for my lighter.” Elara always losing her damn purple lighter. After finding it under her pillow, she made a walk to her back porch.
“You always looking for that damn lighter!”
“Hush cause you be losing yours too!” El laughed, then sat down in a chair.

The world echoed around Elara as the grass became interesting. “Elara what happened between you and Bucky?” She heard Kaylee’s voice from beside her, honestly forgetting that she was on the phone for a second.
“He took her side with his confused ass and how I know that was true about Rydee cause when I was making her ass confessed, she cames towards me first that’s why I took the first lick.” She hit the blunt against the ash tray to knock some off.
“I was there on the second part slow ass , keep going on the first part when I was in the office.” Kaylee laughed at the slow moment Elara just had. “El you high as fuck. He took her side how?”
“Man he said he didn’t know if it was true or not so he don’t know whose side to take and plus it was wrong to fight her. All that pure bullshit.”
“How the fuck he can’t believe you? You were here first so he should know you by now. You took his side and he still chose hers. Men.” Kaylee shook her head then inhaled the smoke through her nose. “I had to hit the blunt for the stupid shit, you just said.”
Elara laughed putting out the blunt. Kaylee always know how to put a smile on her face and Elara’s forever grateful for that. “Girl ima be there in 2 minutes so we can smoke these together bye!”
“Bye bitch!”
After smoking, Elara regretted nothing from today but he was still on her mind. The way his eyes stared into hers…

Yupppp my ass wrote this while high and sober. my first post since a month or two ago. I’m out for the summer so I should be more active.
-so it won’t be confusing, the eternal flame is now under Charmaine’s command so that mean if mazikeen say her trigger words she won’t fall back under mind control.-
4:30 a.m. Charmaine walked down the hallway to make some tea. “I hope there are some packets left.” She mumbled opening the cupboard seeing her favorite tea sitting on the bottom shelf.
After yesterday’s evening little incident, Charm and Bucky came home before the rest of the team. So she has yet to hold Morgan. Footsteps approaching the kitchen took her out of her thoughts.
“I thought I heard someone shuffling around down here.” Thor gave a small smile opening the refrigerator. “Couldn’t sleep?”
“No, and I don’t how I couldn’t even though yesterday I slept well.” Charm took her tea out of the beeping microwave. She grabbed some honey, pouring it into the cup.
“Did Barnes accompany you tonight?” Thor took some sliced pineapples and a bottle of water out of the fridge. Charm looked at him in disbelief.
“No. Bucky didn’t, he said he wanted to give me some space. I denied it plenty of time but he wouldn’t listen.” Charmaine still had a raised eyebrow at what Thor was eating. “I’ve been gone too long, when did you start eating that?”
She got excited leaning on the counter. “Is my Thor eating healthy now?? This is exciting!” Talking about something else other than what happened while she was kidnapped or her mental health made her happy. Thor laughs putting a piece of fruit in his mouth.
“In fact I am. I just wanted to uh..”
His smile widens thinking about something. That indicated to Charmaine that it was definitely a girl involved in this habit. “Omg Thor, you have to tell me everything!!”
He laughed but not too loud to wake everyone up while she grabbed his hand pulling him to the couch. The two began to talk about this amazing girl he met two weeks ago while he was out jogging. They had agreed on helping each other stay in shape. It was such a sweet story.
“Wait wait so you guys are going out for coffee in the next…” Charm checked the phone that Tony recently has bought her. “15 minutes.” She looked up at Thor to see if he needed to change anything.
“Let me fix your hair, Thor.”
His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. “Really? You’d do that?”
“Yes.”
8 minutes later Thor sat between Charmaine’s legs while she fixed his hair and braids. She was almost finished until she realized something was missing. “Thor where is Loki’s piece of hair so I can put it in?”
“You actually remember what I told you about that?”
“Yes, I heard everything.”
Thor held up the piece of hair shyly. When she was finished, his hair looked brand new. “Thank you so much, Charmaine. It’s so good to have you back.” Thor hugged her neck while they stood beside the elevator.
“You’re welcome Thor, there is nothing I wouldn’t do for you.” She kissed his cheek. “Now go have fun on your date. I love you!”
Thor walked inside the elevator with a huge smile.“I love you more.”

an hour later Charmaine sat on the couch, barely able to keep her eyes open. Steve walking into the living room made her jump awake.
“I didn’t mean to wake you Charm.”
“I wasn’t sleeping.”
“Charmaine I literally saw you sitting there with your eyes closed. I didn’t mean to startle you.” Steve walked into the kitchen grabbing some things for training. You know he didn’t have his shoes on.
Charmaine sigh rubbing her face hoping the sleepiness would leave. Truth be told, she was scared to sleep by herself. Scared that the nightmares would come back and this time she wouldn’t wake up. “I wasn’t asleep, I’m alright.”
Steve came over, standing beside her. When she looked at him, her eyes were red from the lack of sleep. “Charm go get you some sleep. Are you okay? Do you need help with anything?”
“Steve-”
“I’m serious Charm, you look tired and I want you to be okay.”
“I’m okay!” She yelled without even trying. Steve looked taken back.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to overstep Charm.”
Charmaine rubbed her face, “No Steve I’m sorry for yelling.” Tears weld in her eyes, “I just…I just wanna go to sleep without the nightmares. At first, I wanted to be alone, away from everyone but now I’m terrified to be by myself, Steve.”
Steve grabbed her hand, making her stand up. He pulled her into a hug, “Let it out.” She broke down in his chest, letting out her frustration.“I’m here to help.”
With Charm still cling to his chest, Steve walked down the hallway to Bucky’s room. He knocked on the door. 3 minutes later Bucky scrambled to the door, opening it. It was still too early in the morning for him.
“Steve?”
Charmaine covered her face, walking towards Bucky. He wrapped his arms around her, “Charm? What’s wrong? What happened?”
Steve shook his head, “She needs you and to sleep. You’re not overwhelming her Bucky so don’t push her away.” He kissed her forehead then closed the door behind him.
“Hold me please,” Charm whispered and Bucky nodded. He got into bed and she laid on top of him with his arms wrapped around her waist. Soon Charmaine’s breathing started to even out.
Bucky watched her as she fell asleep, understanding why she wanted him to sleep with her.

“Good Morning you,” Tony said sitting at the table. Lori sat on the couch rocking baby Morgan. Steve, Natasha, Thor, Peter, & Bucky sat at the table eating breakfast.
Charmaine gave him a small smile, going over to the refrigerator. Since she’s been back, the only person she hasn’t talked to is Tony.
It made him feel a certain way but he just wanted to give her enough space needed.
“Where is Alexis?” Charm asked getting out some apple juice but it went unanswered. Bucky paused his eating, going over to her. “Unt Unt get something to eat Charm.”
Charm rolled her eyes, “I don’t have an appetite right now. I just wanna sleep.” She grabbed a glass out of the cupboard.
Bucky grabbed a plate, putting cheese eggs, and sausage with toast. He went over to her spot at the table, sitting the plate down.
“Now eat.”
“Oh alright.” Charmaine rolled her eyes, grabbing the full glass and going to her seat. The food smelled delicious, and that made her appetite come back.
“You didn’t get any sleep Charm?” Steve raised an eyebrow. Charm nodded her head, eating on the eggs.
“I did. I’m just still tired.”
“So how you feeling Charm? Is everything okay since-”
Charmie cuts off Natasha before she could go any further.
“I’m alright, I promise you guys. Let’s not focus on me. I missed a huge part of everyone’s lives and I wanna know what I missed. Starting with you Peter!”
Thor looked at Bucky who just shook his head not ask.
Everyone noticed her weird behavior but just ignored it to keep her happy. “ We won the decathlon. Ned and I finished our big star wars lego set.”
“That’s so cool. I wanna see it.” Charm leaned forward intrigued. Morgan starts to cry and Tony gets up he could help Lori.
“Charm be honest with us. What happened when you were kidnapped?” Natasha furrowed her eyebrow, not caring if everyone wanted to ignore her weird actions. If Nat wants to know something, she’ll find out.
“Nat..” Bucky warned her but obviously, she ignored.
“I don’t want to talk about it Natasha, like seriously. It’s not about me right now.” The stare between the two was intense.
“Charmaine stop bullshitting us. Closed mouths doesn’t get fed. If you can’t tell us what happened, we can’t help you."
"Natasha you don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t need help.”
“Baby just go to the room, it’s not going to end well,” Tony whispered to Lori, he kissed Morgan’s head. Lori looked at him with worry.
“Okay, honey. I hope she is genuinely alright."
When Lori made it to the room, Tony leaned against the wall watching the scene unfold.
"Natasha that’s enough, don’t push it.” Steve looked between the two girls.
“Whatever it is, we don’t have to know.” Thor eased into the conversation. Bucky tries to grab Charmaine’s hand but she moves it away.
“No, she’s going to keep faking it with us. How are we going to know if she’s been faking it with us this whole time and has been working with Mazikeen. We. don’t. know.” Natasha sneered not taking her eyes off Charmaine.
“I’m not doing that. I am 100% myself!” Charmaine looked at her family that held uneasy looks. Believe it or not, Natasha was right. They didn’t know if Charmaine was putting on act for them and is working for Mazikeen. She looked at Peter.
“You believe her??”
“I don’t know Charm, you used to be so open but now if it isn’t Barnes, you’re shutting everyone else out. You’re not acting like my best friend anymore. What if this is your plan?”
That broke Charm. “W-What? No Peter.” She stood up, sad and angry. “ I can’t believe you’re all ganging up on me. There is nothing wrong with me.”
“Well tell us what happened with Mazikeen. What are you hiding Charm?!??” Natasha stood up, raising her voice. Charmaine’s sadness quickly turned into full anger.
“Natasha that’s enough!” Bucky stood up as well.
“No, it’s not enough. Tell us Charm! We’re your family and you’re holding secrets from us!?” Natasha leaned forward, trying to give her a push.
Charmaine yelled out in frustration giving into exactly what Natasha wanted. Her hair and eyes turned purple while her wings sprouted from her back. Her hands held fire. The team stared in shock at what she’s been hiding.
“Oh shit!” Tony spoke in disbelief.
“Holy Cow!” Peter yelped.
“I did not know she could do that.” Natasha mumbled not knowing what she got herself into.
The Eternal Flame stared at the team who debated if they wanted to get in defense mode. “Charm, just calm down.” Bucky eased towards her. “It’s just me and you.”
His hand grabbed onto hers,“Me and you.” Bucky looked her in the eyes, even when she was the eternal flame his love for her never change.
The Eternal Flame looked at everyone once more then returned back to Charmaine. Which traumatized her completely. She looked at her ‘family’ as tears formed in her eyes.
“Why would… Why would you make me do that?” She shook her head, letting go of Bucky’s hands. Tears streamed down her cheeks. “D-Don’t make me do it again. I can’t…”
“Charm…” Bucky’s heart broke seeing how scared she was.
“I can’t…” She cried walking away from the table. Charmaine went straight into her father’s. “Dad don’t make me do that again.”
“Without you wanting too. I won’t kiddo.” Tony kissed her forehead as she cried into his chest. Not knowing her powers, deep in thoughts Bucky was worried for his girl.
Tony shook his head at Bucky for him not to come closer. Barnes stared at them in sadness as they walked down to Tony’s shared room.

-2 weeks later-
Alexis wakes up in the middle of the night, clutching the cover to her chest. ’ it was just a dream.’ she thought. Her heart beats rapidly against her chest. After sharing a room with Charm for so long, being by herself the room seemed bigger.
Lex quietly closed the door to her room going to Steve’s room. She walked in seeing him laying on his stomach, lightly snoring. Steve felt the bed dip which woke him up to see Alexis getting in the bed.
“Had a nightmare?”
“Y-Yea, it feels weird sleeping in a big room so I considered your offer.”
“Okay,” Steve mumbles rolling over and going back to sleep. Alexis lay on her side facing his back. She grabbed a little piece of his shirt so in case she had another nightmare, the shirt would ensure that it wasn’t real.
Two weeks ago, Steve woke her up from a horrible nightmare. He offered to Alexis that if she didn’t want to sleep by herself that she could sleep with him. Loving the fact that another sleeping body was next to her, Alexis went to sleep feeling safe.
Bucky stared at the ceiling not being able to sleep for the 5th night in a row. He’s been giving Charmaine space because she’s been through so much. Not knowing that all she needed was him. He wanted to talk to her so bad but didn’t want to overwhelm her and was going to wait until she was ready.
With Charm’s nightmares, it took Alexis to help her back to sleep but tonight…
Charmaine’s blood-curdling scream wakes up everyone in the tower.
Bucky rushed out of the bed going straight to her room door. The team ran out of their room in attack mode.
“Someone broke in?!” Natasha asked. Sam stood beside her rubbing his eyes. (nobody noticed that they came out of the same room.)
“Does it look like we know Nat?”
“That sounded like Charm,” Thor said holding his hammer then turned his attention to her door. Lori held on to her 8-month belly, wincing from the pain. Before Steve could say something, Charmaine screamed again.
It took three punches and Bucky broke into her room. Charmaine was crying holding her head repeating the same thing.
“MAKE IT STOP!”
Bucky hovered over, shaking her shoulders. “Charmaine wake up! It’s me.”
She thrashed around in his hands thinking it was someone else. Tony held a face of worry watching his daughter, this was the worst one yet.
“I can’t watch.” Tears welled into Alexis’s eyes, she walked out with Steve right behind her.
“Lex?”
She didn’t respond but that didn’t keep him from not following her.
“Alexis?”
“What Steve?” Lex turned around swiftly with an attitude shown in her voice. She then realized that he didn’t do anything to her. “I’m sorry.”
“Are you okay?” He followed her into their room. She didn’t respond as she sat at the end of the bed. Steve leaned against the door frame not knowing if he should keep asking her. He didn’t want to overstep.
Alexis finally broke. “Steve, I’m scared. I’m so scared for me and Charm.” More tears fell as this time she couldn’t contain them. “Mazikeen has an effect on my life that if she was to come back, I know it’s going to be hell for both of us…”
Steve moved closer to her, “Well you won’t have to worry about her. I’m here to protect you now Alexis.” He sat down beside her and she wrapped her arms around his waist. “ I promise.”
He wiped her tears, held her close as she continued to cry.

“Charm wake up! It’s just a dream.”
Charmaine opened her red eyes looked around nervously at the team. In instinct she jumped into his arms, planting her face into his neck.
Bucky held her tightly as she sobbed. The team took this time to walk out of the room. Tony stood there wanting to make sure she was okay.
“Do you got this Barnes?”
“I got her Stark.”
Tony nods his head leaving the room. “I hope she is okay.” Lori rubs his back,“ She going to be okay, Charm is a very strong woman.” Tony placed a kiss on
Bucky rocked her in his arms as if she was a baby.
“Please don’t leave me.” She sobbed into his neck. The nightmare was her killing everyone on the team and her powers were uncontrollable. The scene replayed in her mind as if it was her own personal hell.
Bucky placed a kiss on her forehead, in hopes that it will calm her down more.“I wouldn’t dare think of it. If you don’t mind telling me, what did you dream about?”
Charm pondered if she was to tell him what she actually dreamed about will scare him. She didn’t want him to think of her in a different way so she lied. “It was like she was here. Like she put that memory suppressing machine on my face.”
“I hate that you went through the same pain I went through. I’m so sorry I didn’t save you in time. Do you remember anything from being there?”
“I let myself fall Bucky, there wasn’t anything you could do. If anything, I should be apologizing for causing you pain that day. I only remember bits and pieces. When they come in, it makes my head hurt.” She admits while holding him close. “Can you stay with me until I fall asleep?”
“Don’t apologize for anything Charm and plus I never intended on leaving,” Bucky said rubbing his metal hand through her hair. Soon the two were in her bed with Charm on top of his chest. This felt like old times to them.
“Bucky?”
“Hmm?”
“I’ve missed you so much.”
“I’ve missed you too my lucky charm.”
“Tomorrow can we watch legally blonde? We never got our chance.”
“I’m really surprised you remember. Yeah, we can watch legally blonde tomorrow. I don’t mind.”
Charmaine traced circles on his stomach.
’Should I kiss him? fuck it, I’m doing it.’
She sits up bringing her face close to his. Bucky’s blue eyes stared into her brown ones as it felt they were the only two in the world. Without hesitation, Charmaine placed her plump lips onto his soft ones.
The kiss was passionate and filled with love. It lasted a minute until Charm pulled back realization hitting her.
She was kissing her best friend. “Shit Bucky, I’m sorry. I hope this doesn’t make-”
Bucky grabbed her face pulling her back into another passionate kiss this time it was longer.

That was the best sleep since the last time the two of them shared a bed. Charmaine woke up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
Looking to her side, Bucky was asleep on his stomach with his brown hair covering his face. She smiled softly moving his hair out of his face. It widens, when she thought about the kiss they shared last night.
‘His hair has gotten so long now that I’m noticing it’ She thought. Charmaine starts to wonder about the things she could do for his hair.
Bucky stirs in his sleep, pulling her out of her thoughts.
“Bucky.”
“Hmm?”
“Good Morning.”
“Charm it’s early in the morning, why are you even up?”
Charmaine braided some of her hair out of nervousness. “I couldn’t sleep any longer. I’m sorry.”
Bucky sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. “It’s fine. Are you alright from last night?”
He opened his arms as an invite for her to lay on his chest which she happily took.
“I’m fine, I don’t wanna talk about that.” Charmaine adjusted her face on his chest. Even though she didn’t see him, Bucky nodded his head.
It got quiet between the two of them, she thought he fell back asleep. Charm had burning questions to ask him.
“Bucky?”
“Charmaine.”
She turned her head to face him, “Why did you never come to see me.”
“I just wanted to give you time Charmaine, I didn’t want to overwhelm you.”
“But you not being there hurt worse Bucky.”
“I’m sorry Charmie, I really am. I didn’t know.”
“It’s alright just don’t push me away. Another question, about the… about the uh kiss? What does that mean for us?” Charmaine sat up in the bed, their eye contact not breaking.
“I can’t deny it. I have feelings for you Charmaine but we can take slow, as long as you are happy.”
“I have feelings for you too Bucky and I would love it if we take it slow.” ——
“Good Morning you two!” Lori smiled putting some waffles on a plate. She was having contractions every other minute but Lori ignored them not wanting to startle the team.
Charmaine and Bucky sat down at the table where everyone was.
“Can I help? I haven’t been in the kitchen in so long.” Charmaine asked getting up from the table. She changed her mind about sitting down because she wanted to avoid the conversation about last night.
Lori winced rubbing her stomach hoping she didn’t see.
“Yeah it’s your kitchen honey!”
In the last two weeks, Charmaine has been stuck in her room. Alexis reassured her many times that she wasn’t going to hurt anyone. Deep down Charm felt like she would.
Also with Bucky not talking to her, she felt like she let everyone down. If Bucky didn’t come and help Charm with her nightmares, she would be still locked in her room.
Charmie placed the batter into the waffle maker. “I’m sorry, I haven’t properly introduced myself. I’m Charmaine.” Lori turned around with the whipped cream still in her hand. “It’s fine, I know it’s been a tough two weeks. I’m Lori.”
“Well, I want to get to know you because you are my mother. I’m not going to say step because that classify as evil and you’re not evil. I watched cinderella!”
Lori let out a laugh,“I want to get to know you to. We should go out for lunch! Me, You and Alexis.”
Charmaine placed the freshly cooked waffle on a plate.“That sounds fun! I’m down.”
Tony walked in the kitchen kissing his favorite women on the forehead, “There go my two favorite women. Is breakfast ready? The team is starving.”
Lori kissed his cheek grabbing the rest of the condiments,“ We better be your only women. Yess it’s ready, where is Peter so we can get started!”
Charmaine grabbed the platter and plates bringing them to the table where the team is chatting away. “Wait I thought Peter was here already here?”
She placed a kiss on Bucky’s cheek hoping it would go unnoticed. Sam noticed and was going to give them hell but Tony cut him off.
“Yeah underoo is supposed to be here..” Tony checks his watch. “Now.” The elevator doors opened and out walked Peter.
Charmaine dropped whatever she was doing and ran to Peter with open arms. He caught her mid-jump, holding Charm close in his arms. The team looked so happy at their reunion.
“I’ve missed you so much Champagne,” Peter whispered placing his hand on her hair. Charmaine closed her eyes to keep from crying.
“I’ve missed you too so much.”
Their reunion was interrupted when Lori lets out a loud groan dropping the plates, clutching her stomach. “Lori you alright?!” Alexis asked getting up from the table.
“Honey? Do I need to take you to the hospital?!” Tony asked frantically placing a hand on her waist.
Lori screams as water dampens her pants, creating a puddle around her feet. “M-Morgan’s coming!”
“Shit!” Steve curses pulling at his hair. Natasha goes over to her as well as Charmaine.
“Deep breaths!” Natasha mimics in and out-breathing. Charmaine came from behind Lori rubbing her back.
“Dad go get her bags!”
“Morgan isn’t due for another month. She’s coming early?!” Tony panicked freezing up. Sam, Peter, and Clint ran around trying to find things to put in the delivery bag. Thor was on the phone with the doctor. Bucky, Steve, and Tony were literally frozen.
“Bucky, Steve and Tony come back to earth, please! We need all hands on deck!” Alexis yelled snapping them out of a trance. Soon they were on the way to the hospital.

Everyone sat in the private loby waiting for Tony to come out and give the news. Steve and Alexis sat beside each other engaged in a conversation. Peter was on the phone with MJ to calm him down from the nervousness. Thor, Sam, Natasha and Clint was in a conversation.
“So how have you been since you know?” Charm fumbles with her fingers while she sat beside Bucky. He had his hands in his lap not knowing what to do with them.
“Uh, it was hard, really hard without you being here. When I finally accepted that you weren’t coming back. Here you go right in front of me.” They both giggled at his little joke. “Did you remember us when you were there? Well more like remember me?”
“I… I don’t know Bucky, things that happened there are coming back in bits and pieces. The eternal flame and I are twisted together. If I was to go in her state of mind, I probably could remember everything.”
“Eternal Flame? Is that the name of your second conscious?”
Charmaine winced at what he said,“ Yeah. Since I’ve been back, it feels like I can’t keep control. I have certain urges to do horrible things but it’s not me, I swear.” She cried placing her hands over her face. Bucky pulled her into his arms as Charmaine continue to cry.
“I know it’s not you doll. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I wish I was there to protect you from it all.”
She pulled back from him, wiping her tears.“I didn’t mean to break down Bucky. I don’t want to ruin this joyous moment.”
Bucky kissed her forehead,“You didn’t ruin anything. I want you to vent to me as much as you can. I’m here for you and I want to make sure you’re okay.”
Before Charm could reply, out ran Tony from the delivery room doors.“ She’s here!!” ————
The whole team had held little Morgan except Charmaine. She declined it everytime someone asked. Unnoticeablely the ends of her brown hair was turning purple.
’Let me out’ 'No! You don’t have control over my body, I do.’ 'I said let me out!’ 'if you won’t do it then I will!’
Charm closed her eyes trying to conceal the pain that cursed through her mind. All her strength was being drained from her body. Bucky was the first to noticed, he walked over to her. “Charm are you okay?”
She looked at him terrified, Charm shook her head. “We will be right back,” Bucky said over his shoulder to the team.
“Charm what’s wrong?” Peter asked, worried for his best friend. He had so many questions to ask but didn’t know when was the right time. His feelings were hurt a bit when his answer went unanswered.
Everyone held worried expressions for their relatives. He pulled her into his chest, seeing that her eyes were starting to glow.
Ignoring the judgemental stares from other hospital patients. Bucky pulled Charmaine into an empty hallway. “What is it doing? What’s wrong?”
“She’s trying to take over Bucky! I can’t control it!”
Bucky frantically looked around for other options knowing it was too late to leave without her powers taking over. Sighing, he kissed her forehead in comfort. “Doll you’re going to have to let her out okay? You have to show her who’s in control.”
“But…But I don’t want to hurt nobody!” Charm sobbed clutching her head and Bucky placed his forehead against hers making eye contact.
“You’re hurting yourself Charm, it’s hurting you more then her. I know you can do this.”
Charmaine nodded, closing her eyes. She gave in, letting the eternal flame think she has control. Bucky stared in amazement as her wings sprouted from her back. His hand touched her hair that was engulfed in flames. Luckily it didn’t hurt him.
To herself, Charmaine starts to chant her trigger words. Slowly her wings grew smaller and her hair went back to its original color. When she finished, Charm looked at Bucky drowsy manner.
“I did it.”
He kissed her head once more, “Yes you did. Let’s get you somewhere so you can rest.”
“I’m going to go check on Charm.” Thor said getting off the couch. Lori sat in front of Buchanan cleaning up his cuts.
“Alright.”
Thor nod his head going down the hall. Bucky hiss from the touch of rubbing alcohol.
“Ah!”
“She beat your ass Bucky. You have to be still.” Lori said biting her lip to keep from laughing. Bucky side eye her with a serious face.
“She did not beat my ass. Charm is just better at fighting now.”
“Mhmm.”
“She didn’t beat my ass.”
“Cap how’s the other girl?” Tony said walking into the kitchen. Steve removed the ice pack from on his face, opening his eyes.
“She’s fine, I was going to check on her after my headache went away.”
“Mhmm. Babe whenever you’re finish with Barnes’s face we have to go get your vitamins and clothes for the baby.” Tony said grabbing edith off the counter. “ Boys you need anything while we’re out? You guys think Nat need something?”
Everyone looked at a sleeping Natasha. Steve shook his head,“No I think she’s good.”

A knock at the door wakes up Charmaine. She place a hand on her throbbing head. Thor cleared his throat before speaking.
“H-Hey um Charm. I miss you and I’m just checking on you. I know you want space but I lost Loki’s hair out my braid but I got more and I was wondering whenever y-you’re ready can you put it back?.”
Charmaine reached out to open the door but flames spewed from her hand making her retract it. She remembered Thor but the pain of the eternal flame trying to take over was unbearable.
The fire fairy crawled onto the floor bringing her knees to her chest as her wings sprouted from her back.
‘kill him.’
'No!’
'KILL HIM!’
'NO I WON’T! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!“
Thor gave a sadden sigh thinking about trying again later. He really missed his sister.

Steve used his thumb print to get into Alexis door. They had her in a holding cell in case anything happened. She slept soundly on the floor. Hearing him walk in, her brown eyes opened seeing the blonde hair man in front of her. Alexis quickly slid backwards into a corner.
Steve held his hands up,"I’m Steve Rogers. I’m not going to hurt you.” He sit down to show that he wasn’t a threat. With his hands still up, she slowly moved towards him. Trying to learn to trust him, Alexis placed her smaller hands into his large ones.
Steve gave a small smile,“What is your name?”
“I’m Alexis. Where am I?” Her soft voice spoke. “Is it okay if I talk? I didn’t mean to speak out of turn.”
“It’s okay. There is no such thing like that here. You’re in the Avengers tower in new york. Do you have family to get in contact with?”
“I haven’t s-spoke with my family in a year. I don’t know if they’re alive or not. Where is Charmaine? I need to go get her.”
“Oh I’m sorry. Charmaine is fine Alexis, she’s in her room.”
“ Good and It’s fine. Can I get some new clothes? This suit is really uncomfortable too sleep in.”
“Yeah I’ll talk with Tony to get you your own personal room here in the tower until you find your family.”
“Okay. Thank you Steve for helping me.”
“Anytime Alexis.”

Waking up from her second nap today, Alexis walked up stairs to everyone preparing to eat. She was just in Steve shirt and short shorts that belonged to Charm. The air fairy really wanted to cover herself up since everyone had on casual clothes.
It was only Lori, Tony, Steve,Nat,Thor were the only ones at the table. Bucky was taking a well needed sleep. Natasha was the first one to notice her,“You must be the one Thor fought?”
“I don’t who that is? I’m sorry, I don’t remember none of that but I hope I didn’t hurt them. I was looking for Steve?” She asked fumbling with her fingers. This wasn’t really the right attire to stand in front of people.
“You didn’t hurt me. I’m Thor and I’m alright.” The god wiped his mouth smiling. Alexis gave a small smile not really wanting to further the conversation about that fight. Thor points to the kitchen area,“Steve is by the stove with Lori.”
Steve turned around with a raised eyebrow,“Thor you called for me?” He then noticed Alexis standing there nervously. He sat his plate down, walking to where she was.
“What’s wrong? You okay?”
“I want to take a shower like a really hot one. Then I want to see Charmaine.”
“Okay uh I’ll put my plate in the microwave then I’ll show you to my shower.”
“Thank you so much.”
"No worries.”
Lori waddles over rubbing her pregnant belly. “Is there anyway I can help?” she trails off waiting on the air fairy’s name.
“Alexis.” She smiled feeling the positive energy radiates from the mom.
“Well Alexis I’m Lori."She then points at her belly."This is little Morgan. Want to feel her?”
“Omg yes!” Alexis places her hands gently on the belly. “Hi little baby.”
Steve watched the fairy interact excitedly with the baby belly. He could tell that she loved to be around that type of thing. “Let’s go get you your shower.”
“Okay! Oh I almost forgot. Lori can I get some medicine for cramps?”
“I sure will. Babe the medicine still on my nightstand?” Lori asked walking back over too Tony. Steve grabbed Alexis hand lightly, guiding her to his shower.
“Yes, it should be there.” Tony stall rubbing her belly as she stood beside them. They heard his door close and broke the act. “Cap so likes her. Way more than he do with Sharon.
"Pfft, he just met her. How?” Thor said drinking on his drink. “Don’t tell me Cap is a romantic.”
“He is! Do you not see how he was staring at Alexis when she was rubbing on Lori’s belly?” Natasha said setting her dish in the sink.
“I thought I was the only one who saw that!” Lori laughed running her fingers through Tony’s hair. “Let me go get her medicine really quick though.”
“Okay baby I’m going to go see Charmaine.”

“Okay everything you need is on the sink.” Steve points at towel and things on the counter. “I’m going back to kitchen so find me if you need anything.” He gave her a small smile then opened the door too leave.
Alexis grabs his hand, “Can you stay in here please? I’m scared.” She used her other hand to push hair behind her ear.
Steve face turned pink from nervousness. “You mean in h-here? While you s-shower?”
“Yes, as crazy as it sound. I don’t want no one to come in and kidnap me mid shower.” She admitted letting go of his hand.
“Uh okay I’ll stay.”
With Steve saying that, she found him to be trustworthy. Alexis turned the shower on then began to take off her clothes. Steve’s eyes widened from that and suddenly the ceiling became very interesting.
“So Steve where are you from?”
“I’m from Brooklyn. You?”
“Texas.”
“I’ve never been to Texas before.”
“Well we’ll have to go one day. I think it would be fun to show you around.”
“We? As in you and I?”
“Yes? Who else you think I was talking about? I trust you.”
“I’m honored Alexis.”
“Yeah you make me feel very comfortable around here.” She replies turning off the shower. Alexis gets out not caring if he saw her or not. Steve face turned scarlet red seeing the arch in her bare back. He closed his eyes wanting to be respectful.
“You could’ve gave a warning you were getting out Alexis.”
“Sorry!”

Tony knocks on the door taking Charmaine out of her trance. She stops her rocking,listening intently.
“Kiddo I’ve missed having you around the house, the good food, the eating ice cream late at night, you lingering around the workshop, just everything. You uh have a little sibling on the way.”
Her eyes clouded with tears. ’dad finally settled down and is having a kid. this is great news.’ She was so scared that she would hurt them. Eternal Flame couldn’t be trusted, she couldn’t trust herself.
“Yeah I was giving you time before I tell Peter you’re home. He’s at Ned house at the moment. Whenever you’re ready kiddo, I’ll be here like always. I love you.”
She just doesn’t want to lose control.

“Charmaine? It’s Alexis. I’m here.” The fire fairy rushed to the door upon hearing that. She opened it, engulfing the air fairy into a big hug. After closing the door, the two hugged each other and this time Charm broke down.
“W-What if she come back and hurt them. She might make me h-hurt them. I could lose control and hurt the baby. I miss them so much but I don’t want to hurt them Alexis.”
“You’re not going to hurt them Charmaine. Stop letting the eternal flame control you.”
“I’m trying and it makes my head hurt so bad. I just want it to stop.”
“I know, I wish I could take some of the pain away. You were there way longer than I was so I can’t even imagine what you’re going through.”
“Have you touched the belly?”
“Yes. His fiancé is so nice.”
“I’m so proud of my dad settling down. If I get through this, I’m going to spoil the little guy.”
“There is no such thing as if Charmaine. You’re getting through this. I’m going to be by your side through it all.”
“What the hell you mean she might be alive huh?” Bucky grew angry hearing the news. Anything that was brought up about Charmaine, he took personal to the heart; “This isn’t a joke matter when it comes down to Charm. Don’t be fucking around.”
“Bucky we aren’t fucking around alright? This is a serious matter to all of us. I wouldn’t play with information like that.” Tony pointed out.
Bucky sat down thinking about the news he just received.“ She wasn’t my… girlfriend. H-How do you guys know that she is?” Lori rubbed Tony shoulder for comfort.
“The scientist sent the security video they have in their building. They took one of the scientists that had a tracker on them so we know where Charmaine is located.” Steve said slowly so everyone could process what he was saying. “ What are we going to do?”
“I know Tony and Bucky is too much in a trance to say this but start over. Like from the beginning."Lori suggested so she could know the full story.
Thor took a deep breath,"We first learned about Mazikeen we were first looking for Charmaine, trying to see if she was alive. Coming up with no hope, we gave up but we did find out that Mazikeen needed the other two elements which are earth and water for whatever her big plan is.”
Steve continued, “So Thor and I talked it up with Stark. Found the man who was selling it, buying it right before she does. Which is the result of us finding the hidden base and being told that Charmaine is alive.”
Lori rubbed her chin thinking hard, “So get her tonight.”
Tony looked at her in a crazy manner, “What? Babe that’s not going to work.”
“Tony if you in there tonight while her guard is down, you’ll get Charm and the other injection because she wouldn’t be caring about protection, only about how to get to the other injection. Plus she will be looking for help."Lori said then walked over to a tablet so she could pass it too Tony.
"I think I know exactly who Mazikeen will be going too.” Tony said typing something then showed a hologram of Strucker.
“I thought we took down the main base he had even though it didn’t have the scepter?” Bucky said intrigued in the conversation.
“That was another one. His main one is in Sokovia. F.R. I .D.A.Y found it last night but I didn’t want to say anything until I more information.” Tony said showing the base on the screen to everyone. “What do we want to do?”
“We go but only just us 7. I’ll tell Sam and Scott to be on stand by if we need them.” Steve said giving the decision.
“We meet back here in 5. Our three main goals are Charmaine, Scepter and injection.” Tony said clapping his hands together. This was a pretty big mission too them. Bucky let go of the nervous breath he was holding. He was counting down the minutes until he saw her.
“Be safe okay? I need you to come back to me, safe and sound.” Lori said rubbing Tony’s cheek. “I love you.”
Tony pulled his fiancé into a loving kiss. “I love you too honey.” He replied when they pulled apart. Iron man bent down kissing her belly.
“I love you babygirl.”

Lori was indeed right about Mazikeen being in Sokiva. Eternal and Cyan stood behind her protectively with scowls on their face. Maze wanted all the help she could get. Finding out that this was one of the few Hydra bases still running, she was desperate.
“Strucker I know you can help me get that injection back.”
“Mazikeen if I help you get that injection, I want apart of it all.” Strucker said sitting his clipboard down.
“Apart of it all? I work alone.” Mazikeen snarled not liking the idea of sharing. “Either you help or I find somewhere else.”
“THE AVENGERS HAVE INFILTRATED THE BASE! ALL HANDS ON DECK!”
Mazikeen smirked, “Girls it’s your time to shine.”
Both Cyan and Eternal gave a sinister smirk igniting there powers.
“Our men can handle the Avengers. Call your body guards off. If they can’t then we’ll send our enhanced.” Dr. List protest.
“Strucker if my enhanced take them out before your men do then, kiss half of everything goodbye. If your men can handle it then by all means, welcome to the team.” Mazikeen offered holding out her hand. They always say, don’t make deals with the devil. Strucker shook her hand without even asking questions.
“Deal.”

One of Bucky’s hands held on to the side of the truck while he used the other one shoot at the armed forces. Clint stood inside of the vehicle shooting arrows while Natasha drove recklessly. Tony flew around taking out ones they couldn’t reach.
“Nat can you stop swerving?!” Bucky yelled frowning when he couldn’t aim straight from all the movement.
“Unless you want us to crash! I advise you to hush!” Nat yelled back dodging a tree. When a solider got close enough to the truck, Bucky punched them off.
Another truck pulled up beside them aiming to shoot. Thor lands on top of it, taking out the shooter before flying off to a post that held many more solider. Steve came in on motorcycle grabbing one by his foot, dragging him through the dirt.
He threw his shield taking out plenty more while still driving. Hulk grabbed a truck that Thor made fly throwing it towards more soldiers. Making it to the defense line Bucky jumped from the back of the truck as the team horizontally crossed over the line.
Tony flew up to the base , hitting a forcefield. “Shit!”
“Language.” Steve scolded like a parent making Bucky roll his eyes. “J.A.R.V.I.S, what’s the view from upstairs?”
“The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker’s technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we’ve taken.” The A.I. replies through the comms.
Thor lands on top of a solider taking it out, kicking another one. He threw his hammer towards one, “Loki’s scepter must be here. Mazikeen is here because Strucker couldn’t mount this defense without her." He held his hand out, letting the hammer come too him but he dodged it letting it hit the soldier behind him. "At long last.”
Bucky threw a grenade into a moving truck. By his side Natasha jumps up, elbowing a solider in the face. They separated as took out two other ones by shooting them. One tries too take him off guard but he ducks kicking them off their feet, giving a good punch to the face.
“At long last” is lasting a little long, boys.“ He heard Natasha voice after a prolonged moment.
"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise.” Clint said sarcastically letting out a short chuckle.
“Clint it’s a little to late for that.” Bucky said shooting his grenade launcher to blow up a unmanned gun.
After a short minute Tony spoke, “Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said "language?”
“I know.” Steve said unapologetically, there was moment of silence with a crashing noise following. “ It just slipped out. Bucky where are you located?”
Bucky shot into the air as a signal, “Follow that gunshot.”
Minutes later Steve ran up to him, “ It’s fewer soldiers out here. I’m going to fight a few stragglers then head inside the base when Stark says it clear. Coming?”
Bucky nodded shivering a little. It was cold as hell out there but it wasn’t nothing he couldn’t handle.
Clint shoots a arrow at the unmanned gun. Cyan catches it with one hand to avoid it from hitter her in the face. Absorbing the energy from the gun she shoots her energy towards the tree making it crack falling over. Clint jumps from behind the tree out in the open.
She steps aside letting the next blast hit Clint on his side. His cry out in pain catches Natasha’s attention.
“Clint’s been hit!”
Pietro swooshes through picking Cyan up in his arms in the process. Out the the clearing he stops placing her back on her feet. She hit his chest.
“ I had him!”
“We need to hurt them not kill them.”
Cyan rolled her eyes flying through the air finding her next target. Pietro knocks down the two super soldiers as he speeds past them.
“We have an enhanced in the field.” Steve said as they ran in the direction Pietro went. Steve threw his shield as Bucky shot at more soldiers. Running out of bullets for one gun, he curses to himself.
“Shit! Stark, we really need to get inside.”
“I’m closing in.” Tony replies almost immediately. Bucky drowns out the rest of what he say continuing to fight. 5 minutes later Tony gave them the okay.
“Drawbridge is down, people.”
Thor lands beside the two super soldiers electrocuting the leftover hydra soldiers, “The enhanced?”
“He’s a blur. All the new player’s we’ve faced, I’ve never seen this. In fact, I still haven’t.” Steve said looking around for any clues,evidence or soldiers.
“Too fast for the naked eye.” Bucky said placing his gun in his back holster. Before Thor could reply, electricity knocks them to the ground. Cyan lands to the ground holding two balls of electricity in her hand.
“Captain America and the god that the scientists was talking about. Where is the injection?”
Thor stood too his feet holding his hand out for mjollnir, “You work for Mazikeen don’t you? We don’t want to hurt you.”
Bucky stood up, helping Steve to his feet. Her eyes turned completely white, holding her arms up in the air.
“Hurt me? Let’s see you try.” Cyan smirked gaining as much electricity as she could. Thor swing his hammer gaining momentum.
“Go! I got this.”
Steve looked Thor hesitantly before him and Bucky took off towards the base again. Natasha voice comes in through the comm.
“Clint’s hit pretty bad, guys. We’re gonna need evac.”
Bucky knew that Charmaine has to here somewhere. “Steve go help Nat. I’m going in to find Charmaine.”
“Bucky she won’t remember you. You’re going to need back up!” Steve obliges grabbing the winter soldier arm so they could stop running. “I’m not going to let you go in by yourself!”
“Tony and I are probably the only ones that can bring her back. Steve I can take care of myself. I can do this.” Bucky said determined to get his girl back. Steve sigh not liking the idea but he knew Bucky was going to go anyway.
“Fine. If I don’t hear from you. I’m coming in!”

Bucky walked up the stairs silently with his gun aimed. Charmaine was ordered to stay in the building to protect Mazikeen while she escaped. Charm walked into the stair way, she stopped seeing the gun being aimed at her face.
Bucky gasp softly seeing the love of his life, he thought dead was standing in front of him. She looked so different.
“I would’ve never guess the Winter Soldier was here. I love that metal arm.” She winked at him flirtatiously.
Bucky stood there not being able to grasp on words. His best girl was actually alive, he couldn’t believe it. Buchanan trance quickly ended when he saw flames ignite in her hands, hair glowed purple and eyes turned purple as well.
“Once I kill you, it would be such a pleasure to take it off.”
He dropped his aim, “Charmaine?”
She tilts her head stepping forward, “Who’s Charmaine?”
His mouth agape, “Charm do you remember me?” Bucky step back dodging her attempt to swing on him. She blast her fire at his chest, the force from it sent him tumbling down the stairs.
Charmaine leaps forward but Bucky rolled over in time just for her punch to put a dent in the floor. The two fight 7 minutes straight. Every time she got close to him, Bucky would throw out a memory of them so she could remember but it didn’t do nothing but make her angrier.
Both bloody faced fighters stood on the opposite side trying to catch their breath. Bucky continues to try with her. “Your full name is Charmaine Ralei Morgan. Your father is Tony Stark. We cooked together all the time. You went to NYU for college!”
Charmaine cries out in pain clutching her head. The memories gave her brain unbearable pain. She ran toward him football tackling him through some hallways doors on to the floor.
Charmaine sat on top of him, repeatedly punching the Winter Solider. “I AM THE ETERNAL FLAME!”

“YOU ARE MY MISSION.”

“I HAVE TO KILL YOU!”

Her filled with tears as she held her fist up,“I NEED TO KI-kill you.” Charm stared at Bucky’s bloodied face. Her mind fought for dominance over who was in control. Charmaine or The Eternal Flame.
Bucky stared back ready for the next punch. “Charmaineyou’re my lucky charm.” He said breathlessly and it clicks in her head. Charm drops her fist, eyes turning normal, crying. Bucky took this as his opportunity.
“I’m so sorry Charmaine but I have to do this.”
She looks at him confused, “W-What?”
Bucky metal fist connects with her temple, completely knocking her out. Her unconscious body fell on top of his.

“Is dinner ready, honey?” Tony asked from the couch with his eyes still glued to the tv. Him, Thor, Clint, and Bruce were watching football. Lori sat down the last platter of burgers.
“Yess, honey. Everyone can come eat!” She announced everyone to come to the table. “Scott, do I need to go get Hope?”
“It’s fine; I’ll go get her,” Scott said, then walk down the hall to his room where his wife and daughter were.
Soon everyone was sitting around the table, enjoying everyone’s company. Lori couldn’t hold her excitement about the news. She felt content with her family sitting around digging in the food she has prepared. Never in her life, she thought it would get this far; Lori has made it to the happiest point in her life.
"How was the doctor’s appointment today, babe? Is he or she healthy?” Tony asked after swallowing his food. She rubbed her belly happily.
“Yes, they’re very healthy.”
“You should name them Thorina after me.” Thor smiled, taking another bite of his burger. Lori tilts her shaking it.
“Thor, we are not naming the child Thorina.”
His smile drops, “Thorina is a good name.”
“Yeah, for your child, not mine.”
Steve snorts a laugh, but she side-eyes him again,” Steve, you don’t get to laugh; I’m mad at you.“
"Oo Cap, what did you do to my fiance?” Tony laughs, wiping his mouth,
“I didn’t do nothing.” Steve rolled his eyes.
“He still talks to Sharon.” Peter blurts, sipping on his water.
“You still talk to Sharon?” Hope asked, sitting her burger down in disbelief. “I thought you said you were going to tell her.”
“Nope, he’s chicken.” Natasha gave an amused smile. “She’s a nice girl, though.”
“She is a nice girl. A good fighter.” Bruce agrees then takes a bite of his burger. “I see why he hasn’t told her.”
“Bruce, what’s that supposed to mean ??” Steve said, holding his hands up. “I love being around her; I just don’t think she’s the one right now. Don’t say nothing to her, Stark.”
“Not making any promises,” Tony said in a sing-song voice.
“She blonde, right?” Clint asked, thinking. "I think I’m talking about the right one.”
“Is Sharon the one with the big boobs that sit behind that desk downstairs?"Thor asked, trying to remember her face. Bucky facepalms knowing where the conversation was going to lead.
"You right, Clint, she’s blonde, but No Thor, that’s Rebecca,” Steve smirked, amusedly, looking at Bucky. “Bucky knows who she is. Why don’t you ask him.”
Everyone looks at Bucky, making him shrink in his seat. “Bucky, how you know Rebecca?” Bruce asked, leaning forward, wanting all the tea.
“Steve got Sharon to put me on a date with Rebecca. It was all his doing."Bucky said in pointing Steve. "We got drunk; I woke up naked with a hangover.”
“His thing worse than mine Lori, so be mad at him, not me,” Steve whined like a little kid. Lori finished up the last of her burger, wiping her mouth.
“I guess I won’t be mad at either one since I have good news. Be careful with those women because I don’t mind hurting them if they do anything to hurt you. You to Thor.”
She stood up, rubbing her belly, “Okay, I’m ready to announce it since everyone is done eating. Give me a second.” Tony stands up, placing his hands on her waist.
“You need some help, babe?”
“I got it. Sit down.”
Tony held his hands up, “Okay, honey. You got this.”
Lori walked over to the oven, taking out the blue and pink icing cupcakes. She waddles over to the table, passing out cupcakes, giving Tony the biggest one. Excitedly she sat down, rubbing her hands on her stomach.
“Everyone close your eyes and on 3. Wait, let me go get something.” Lori struggled to get up again. “Before you say it, no, I don’t need help, babe.”
“I’m just checking, honey."Tony shrugged his shoulders. She grabbed the balloons that were in the nearest room to the kitchen, which was Bruce’s room. Making sure their eyes were still close, she walked out with the confetti canon and balloons.
"Keep your eyes closed!”
“They are closed!"Natasha said impatiently. Lori let go of the balloons above the table then opened the confetti popper.
"Okay, on 3 bite into the cupcake, then open your eyes.”
“1.’
"2.”
“3.” Everyone opened their eyes, and Lori popped the confetti canon. Everyone cheers in excitement, seeing the color from the confetti and inside of the cupcake.
Pink confetti flew everywhere.
“IT’S A GIRL!?!?” Tony asked with a huge smile. He pulls her into a big hug, jumping up and down making her laugh. “IT’S A GIRLLLL!!!!!”
Steve pulled out his phone, face-timing Sam. “Sam, it’s a girl!!! You owe Me and Bucky 10 dollars.”
“Whatever, man! I knew it was a girl; I just wanted to be different.”
“Sure man, you lost fair and square,” Bucky said into the phone, then went over, giving Lori a hug then gave Tony one.
“Congratulation guys, I’m so happy for you two.”
“Thank you Bucky so much! It means a lot having you here. That’s why we want you, Thor, and Steve to be her godfather.” Tony said, placing a hand on his shoulder. Bucky gave the biggest smile.
“Really? I would love to be her godfather.”
“That’s amazing news to hear. Let me go get Steve and Thor, don’t move."Lori said happily waddling over to where Steve was.
Bucky and Tony watched everyone be happy over the news of the gender. It’s been so long to see the Avengers truly happy since the death of someone that meant the world to them.
"I miss her so much Tony.”
“I do too, every day.”
“I know she would’ve been team boy all day,” Bucky said letting out a little laugh.
“I know right,” Tony said placing his hands in his pockets.
“Well, she is in here with us in our heart.”
“Always.”

After Lori’s shower, she was in Peter’s room on the floor helping him with the legos. She was sitting there with her legs crossed rubbing on her stomach while eating on sour gummy worms.
“Where did you want me to put this at?”
Peter points at an empty space, “Here.”
“So talk to me, what’s on your mind sweet face?”
“I’m excited to meet my little sister. I miss Champagne and Aunt May. Uh, I have a crush on this girl name MJ, that’s about it.” Peter said rushing the last part so she wouldn’t hear. But Lori heard, her face brighten.
“A crush? What does MJ stand for? When can I meet her? OMGGG!”
“Mom catch your breath, MJ stands for Michelle Jones.”
“You didn’t answer the last question, Peter.”
“I don’t know Mom, I haven’t told her that I like her because she is one of my close friends.”
“Close friends? I thought it was just only Ned.”
“I thought I been told you about MJ.”
“No you haven’t, tell meee,” Lori said plopping another gummy in her mouth.
“Okay Okay. Michelle just started sitting with us at lunch and we always have little arguments but she is so cool to hang out with and we get along with our smartness. She’s kinda taller than me and has brown hair,”
“Well, whenever you’re ready to bring her around then I’ll be so happy to meet her.”
“Mom I thought about a name or two for my little sister,” Peter said pouring out another bag of legos.
“Well, what are your suggestions?”
“I like Morgan or Maya. Have you and Dad chose a name for her yet?”
“Well no, he wanted to wait until he found out the gender so I guess now it’s time to start looking for a name. I like Morgan, it has a nice ring to it.” Lori said letting out a little yawn, giving her tummy another rub. A little kick frightens her a little bit.
“You okay mom? Is she okay? Do I need to get Dad?” Peter asked frantically seeing her jump from the kicks.
“I’m fine Peter, I’m okay honey. Let me see your hand.” Lori said reaching for his hand. Peter leans forward scared that something was going to happen. She places her hand on his stomach, smiling a little bit. “You feel that?”
Peter smiled, “Yeah is that her?”
“It is !”
“Oh wow! I’m so excited to meet her.”
“Me too.”

Tony peaked his head through his son’s door, his wife and kid were sleeping soundly. He went over placing a kiss on both their forehead making sure the cover was over them. He went down to the lab where Thor and Steve stood. It was around 10:20 p.m. so half of the team was probably sleeping.
“So did buying the injection go through?” Tony asked placing his hands on his hips. “Did she come to get it?”
“Makizeen did indeed sent her men to go get it, "Thor said looking around some lab stuff. "Stark, you might want to sit down to hear the rest.”
“I think I’m good point break, what is it?”
Thor sigh knowing this was some big news,“ One of the scientists said they saw her. She and another girl had glowing hair with powers.”
“Powers? Who are you talking about Thor?” Tony asked wanting them to spill it.
“Tony, they had sent us a security video of her,” Steve adjusted the weight on his other foot.
“W-what? No that can’t be. Cap, you saw her fall!” Tony stressed running his hand through his hair knowing who exactly they were talking about.
“I did Tony but I didn’t see past the explosion. How are we going to tell Bucky?"Steve said now placing his hands on his hip. Bucky walked in catching the last of it.
"Tell me what?”
Lori yawned rubbing her eyes walking into the lab, “Honey let’s go- is everything okay here?”
“What did you guys have to tell me?” Bucky questioned impatiently.
Steve rubbed his hand over his mouth.
“Bucky, Charmaine is alive.”
That caught him way off guard.

You repeat the mantra in your head as you walk home, refusing to break down in the middle of New York. As it turns out, the paper you had stayed up all night to finish was actually due next week. Not a big deal, right? Wrong.
Summary: Going into Emmie’s third trimester, the cravings hit but the contractions hit harder.

Bucky sigh as Emmie starts to throw a fit. “Em I’m just going to the living room.” He rub his hand over his face.
“Stop crying babe.”
Emmie looked at him as tears spewed from her eyes. “To go and say maybe my back hurts because you’re laying in bed. No!”
Bucky just stared as she threw her third fit for today. “Emmie you’re not making any sense. I just said maybe if you get out of bed and walk around your back won’t hurt.” He shook his head as he stood near the end of the bed.
“Maybe my back hurts because you don’t know how-how to just pullout.” Emmie cried, hugging the pillow close. “And it hurts for real.” She couldn’t control the fact that she was crying. Emmie was just hungry and didn’t know to tell Bucky because her emotions were everywhere.
“Baby-” She cut Bucky off with more crocodile tears.
“You have some nerve to say that so go do what you wanted to do.”
Bucky looked at her with a disbelief expression, “Babe you doing all this because I don’t want to lay down anymore.” He was trying to hold in his laughter. “I’ve been laying down with you all day baby. Let’s go do something.”
Emmie could tell that he wasn’t taking her seriously. “Go lay with another bitch then. If that’s what you want so bad.”
Bucky let out a little laugh, “Babe I don’t want to lay down anymore.” He tries to touch her leg but she moved away.
Emmie sobbed pointing towards the door, she raised her voice. “Get Out!!!”
Bucky couldn’t take it and started laughing, “Babe calm down!” She cried harder as he scooted back up in the bed. “I’m sorry baby, come on let’s get something to eat.” Bucky opened his arms so she could lay on his chest. Which she did.
Emmie let out a tired,“What?”
Bucky kissed her forehead, “Babe you can’t just be yelling at me because your back hurts.” Emmie took in his scent which calmed her down. “Now, what you want to eat?”
“Chic-fil-a.”
“A 12 count with mac and cheese and a sweet tea to drink with a vanilla milkshake. Am I correct baby?”
“Yes.”

After the moment earlier about food, Emmie slept soundly in the bed. Bucky and Steve played video games in the living room. Steve girlfriend was out on vacation with her family so Steve hung out with them.
Emmie felt so cold as she was wrapped under the blankets in bed. Something just told Bucky to go check on his wife which he did.
“Babe are you okay?” He placed his hand on her steaming hot forehead. “Shit Emmie! You’re burning up.”
She sat up in the bed,“No I’m…” Emmie puked all over herself on accident. All the chic fil a came back up but she didn’t have time to move. Bucky eyes widen as he yelled for Steve.
“Steve!! Come here with a trash can! Hurry.”
Emmie body shook from throwing up her guts, it made her weak. She tries to apologize but Bucky rubbed her back in comfort. “It’s okay my love. You’re okay.”
Steve came into the room with a trash can to see the scene. “Is she okay Buck?” Bucky removed the comforter that had the puke while Steve held the bag. “Yeah, I’m going to give her a bath. Can you throw this out for me.”
“Yeah no problem.”
Emmie felt embarrassed in front of Bucky as she stared at her fingers. “I’m going to go run some water then let’s get you to the bathroom.” He kissed her forehead, and made way to the bathroom.
After the bath was prepared, Bucky helped Emmie to the bathroom. “You look so beautiful.” He said as he underdressed her. “I love you.” Bucky rubbed her stomach.
Emmie held onto him as she sat in the tub. The water was cool so she wouldn’t get nauseated again. The water felt amazing against her skin. “I love you too… I’m sorry-”
Bucky cut her off, “You don’t have to apologize for anything. You’re okay.” He brought her hand to his lips, placing a kiss on it.
“I just don’t want you seeing me like this.”
“Like what?”
“All pregnant and fat. You probably m-miss my skinny body. I’m not pretty no more.”
“Baby you are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever laid my eyes on. I love your body, every piece of you. You’re perfect for me.”
Emmie started crying out of pain and the beauty of the fact that Bucky loves her body. Bucky sat beside the tub on the floor, wiping her tears. “Don’t cry baby. What’s wrong?”
“Contractions…”
On the couch the three where with Emmie in the middle. She cried out every time a contraction hit. “Ah!”
Bucky heart hurt as he felt that it was nothing he could do. He wiped the sweat that formed around her head. She still was having heat flashes.
“Have you guys talked with the doctor?” Steve massage her feet as he been doing so for the last 15 minutes. Her feet were swollen huge.
Her back laid in Bucky’s lap so he massaged her stomach until she needed to pee. “Yes, she told me that it was false labor. Emmie do you want something?”
A tear fell as she shook her head. The pain was unbearable. “Let’s try something Emmie.” Bucky pulled Emmie into his lap. Both in a sitting up position, he wrapped his arms around her waist. Using both hands to lift up her belly.
Emmie found comfort in not having a huge belly on her pelvis. The contractions still hit but it was better then before. Her eyes slowly closed and getting the proper sleep that she wanted all day.
Steve looked in relief that she went to sleep. “You want to watch a movie?” Bucky nodded his head.
“Yeah I want to watch that new Resident Evil movie.”
“Okay let me make some ice cream first.”
As Steve went into the kitchen Bucky stared at his sleeping wife. He felt like he deserved the best husband award for helping her. He kissed her forehead,”I love you.”

“Armoni wake your ass up so we can go to the courthouse.” Tilly hit the door waking up Armoni from her sleep.
The teenager groaned not wanting to be bothered. She rolled over trying to get her phone but remembered they took it. It’s been two weeks since the incident at the tower and it’s been hell.
“Armoni didn’t Tilly tell your ass to get up?!” Her father sounded off at the door. It was locked because the way he has been acting makes Armoni feel weird around him.
She didn’t respond but just rubbed her eyes. The door was kicked in. Yeah, you read right.
“What the fuck??” Armoni yelled getting out the bed, trying to hurry up to put on shorts. Her father gave her a sly look which made her skin crawl.
(Y'all I can’t bring myself to write that. It’s nasty and it makes me mad af. Just know his nasty ass touched her!)
Armoni cried putting on her outfit. She didn’t want to wear it because she felt so disgusted with herself. “Armoni let’s go!” Tilly yelled from downstairs.
She walked downstairs holding herself close. That man licked his lips watching her walk downstairs.
“Only reason why I’m letting you wear your whore clothes so we can win this trial. If they ask you anything, you tell them that you’re happy with us. I need this money, that’s the only reason why I got your whore ass.” Tilly played with the ends of Armoni’s hair as they walked towards the car. Armoni bit her lip trying to hold in her tears.

The press was hot outside as the three walked into the courthouse. Tony, Steve, Natasha, Bucky, Sam, and Wanda sat in all black near the front. Bucky hit Steve on the shoulder when he saw Armoni walk into the room. Steve instantly sat up, turning around to see her. When he spotted her, Steve got up making his way over to his daughter.
“Sweetheart…”
He was cut off by her mother. “She’s not your daughter so don’t talk to her like she is.”
“With all due respect ma'am.”
“You heard what my wife said.” Armoni’s father moved forward into Steve’s face. The two held an intense glare until the bailiff called the court to order.
“Please rise. The Court of the Second Judicial Circuit, Criminal Division, is now in session, the Honorable Judge Smith presiding.”

“Prosecution, you may call your first witness.”
Their Attorney spoke up “Thank you, your Honor. I call to the stand Armoni’s mother, Tilly.”
The trial lasted all morning until around 3 p.m. The Judge called for recess. Armoni stayed quiet the whole time. Scared from the threat her father gave.
“Armoni?” Wanda’s comforting voice came from the side of her while she got a sip of water from the fountain. She quickly stood up, looking around to see if her father was around.
“Hey, Hey what’s wrong? You’re freaking out about something.” She grabbed her hand but she moved it which hurt Wanda’s feelings a bit. “Armoni what’s wrong so I can help you?”
Armoni looked around nervously one more time and once not seeing her parents in view. She spilled the beans.
“He did what?!?!”
It took every strength in Wanda not to show everyone the Scarlett Witch. “Cap.” She held onto Armoni’s hand as they walked in the courtroom.
“Hey! What’s she doing with my daughter?!!” Tilly questioned trying to make her way to them but the security guard stood in the way. The judge stayed quiet trying to see everything unravel.
“Wanda? Armoni can’t be over here.” Steve tried to abide by the rules so he could seem like a fit parent. He noticed the tears in Armoni’s eyes. He instantly went into papa bear mode.
“What’s wrong Armoni? What happened??”
Armoni gripped onto Wanda’s hand.“Nothing I’m fine Steve.” She could feel the holes being burned into her back.
“If it’s something that needs to be known in the trial, you have to tell us. I promise no one will hurt you. I won’t even let them get close.” Steve spoke in a comforting way using his thumb to wipe her tears. Her behavior reminded him of how she was when she first moved into the tower.
“Armoni you have to help us so you can come back. Nobody’s going to hurt you.” Natasha placed a hand on her lower back.
“Everything’s going to be okay Armoni. We promise, just tell us what happened.” Sam reassured silently hoping that it was something bad so her parents can go down.
“Pinky Promise?” She whispered holding out her finger to the team. Tony wrapped his finger around hers.
“Pinky Promise. I’ll sue them for every penny they have.”
“He told me if I told anyone, he would hurt them and I don’t want him to hurt you guys. I’m scared.” Armoni sobbed shaking her head. Bucky hated seeing his niece like this, it hurt him.
“Armoni what are you talking about? What did he do??”
Armoni took a deep breath, tears rolled down her cheek. “He touched me.” The team held different emotions trying to process what the hell she just said.
“He… he touched you… Where?"Bucky clenched his jaw, getting angry in a matter of seconds. Armoni pointed at her skirt. It clicked to Steve in a matter of seconds. He ran over to her father throwing a nice punch to his face.
"YOU TOUCHED MY DAUGHTER?!?!”
All hell broke loose in that courtroom. Armoni held onto Wanda, crying. Bucky was being held back by Sam so he wouldn’t make things worse. Tony and Natasha were trying to get Steve off the man but Rogers wasn’t budging. The judge kept hitting the pallet hoping to catch everyone’s attention.
Tony and Natasha plus 6 security guards finally were able to get Steve off. “What did he say? What happened??!” The judge yelled at everyone in the room. “That man touched my daughter, your honor. I kicked his ass cause he touched my daughter!!” Steve yelled hoping everyone in the world could hear.
Shocked, the judge turned her attention towards a crying Armoni. “Is what he said is true Ms. Armoni??” All she could do was nod her head.
“She’s lying? That little whore is lying!! She came onto my husband!” Tilly screamed hoping to keep the act up so she could get money. Wanda placed her hand over Armoni’s ear.
“She’s lying? A 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL IS LYING ABOUT BEING TOUCHED BY YOUR RAPIST HUSBAND? YOURE PATHETIC!” Wanda exploded keeping a good grip on Armoni. Wasn’t nobody getting close to her.
“Order in the court! ORDER!” The judge hit the pallet, upset herself. “I’ve heard enough! In the case of The State of New York versus The Avengers. Find the defendant not guilty of the charge of legal adoption of Ms.Armoni Rogers. You’re going to jail, Mr. and Mrs. Lo.”

Armoni and her father, Steve Rogers, sat on the couch watching her favorite movie. Legally Blonde
“Princess are you okay?” Steve asked for the fifth time while they’ve been on the couch. She wasn’t bothered by it and answered genuinely every time.
“Yes, I’m okay.”
“I am so sorry I let you down sweetheart. In those two weeks, you weren’t here was my personal hell. I’m sorry for even letting them take you. I wish I was there to prevent what happened to you. I’m so glad to have you as my daughter, I promise to protect you from everything I can. I love you my butterfly.” Steve held his daughter close, placing a kiss on her forehead. This is what real love from a father and from a family feels like and she was grateful for every bit.
“I love you more Dad. I’m so grateful to have you in my life.”
She hugged her dad’s neck tightly.
