= 5th August 2018, Sunday =

This was an absolutely hectic week. I had three tests: Math, History and Geography, plus my Historical Investigation was due too. I had fun creating this confusingly messy yet neat layout. I used my three favourite colours, green, yellow and black to sort of commemorate it’s now August, which is my birth month!! (Also, I love this plant I got plus it’s gold pot so I decided to include it in the pictures. It’s name is Chris Hemsworth Evans Pine Pratt, in memory of my previous, now dead, air plant by the same name. RIP babe, miss you.)

Firstly, I’m terribly sorry about the abrupt and rather long hiatus. There was a whole month of holiday and June + I wasn’t keeping to my commitment of updating my studyblr once a week. Anyway, did this simple sketch for August and I’m planning to be more productive this month. Fingers crossed!

Okay, I’m really proud of this spread, mostly because I didn’t overdo the yellow and hand drew everything, apart from the duck sticker which I bought from a VIA project at school. I also stuck to my New Year’s Resolution of saving the earth since I cut out the tiny banner things from my 2017 calendar before chucking it away. That brings me to: Happy Earth Day everyone!!

I did this at the start of the month when I was doing some watercolour backgrounds for some pre-made birthday cards. It’s a really simple layout so not much to say about it? The lighting absolutely sucks here though, which I apologise for.

I warned you all I’m a procrastinator. Anyway, did this spread back in March while I was in a pink phase. I just really loved the soft overall look here but I feel there was too much pink. Drawing the two flowers were relaxing though!!

Again, I did this around the start of March but I’m not sure what the exact date was, so I’ll just settle for today. I may have been having a bit of an obsession with crystals that month, as seen by this spread. It was fun to make my first spread and to draw out the crystals on the blue paper was kinda therapeutic after a long day.

I did this around the start of March but I’m not sure what the exact date was, so I’ll just settle for today. I really like the plain, simple look here, even though it didn’t turn out as what I had envisioned in my mind. I’m still quite proud of it though, so yay!!

Again, I did this a while back but never got around to posting it. (Thanks a lot, procrastination.) Not that proud of it, considering the weirdly coloured planets and the overkill of dots on the second page butI did compile everything I wanted, so there’s that.

The first page of my bullet journal!! Thought I would do something light and happy, hence the circle of flowers and rainbow watercolour. Did this a while ago but forgot to post it (another bad trait of mine).

So it’s a little bit late but I finally found some inspo and got into creating my reading journal for 2021!

I absolutely love how this month turned out thanks to Amanda’s lavender theme!!!

- ̗̀ dec 31  ̖́-

I’ve seen this coming for a while, and I’ve been scared to put this out here but: as of 2020, my studyblr will be inactive.

the second half of 2019 was a really rough roller coaster for me, and I had a lot of changes in my life - including my family moving to shanghai while I’m still studying in singapore. because of that, I saw myself having too many things on my plate to consistently come on here and share my study journey. it’s upsetting, of course, because this lovely community has provided me with so much over the last 3 years I’ve run my studyblr.

to my mutuals and those who followed me, thank you to every single one of you for the little kind messages and posts that encouraged me to continue running this account. It’s been a good run, but sadly this is where I have to put my account on pause while I focus on my life and for my major exams in 2020.

I’ll be leaving everything as it is of now - of course I wouldn’t rob y’all of the chance to still look at whatever I posted here. and as a goodbye present, here’s my bullet journal set up for next year.

have a great 2020, loves ❤️
