The following scratching and clawing was quite violent, so we won’t disclose much information there. All there really needs to be said is that Bendy regretted every single second. At least it explained why it was so dang heavy.
When the little demon was nudged, he gave a low, defeated groan, lifting his tail and waving a white flag. “Parlay, I plead you… parlay..!”His words were muffled, so he got up. He was covered horn to toe in white bandages, so much so he almost looked like an Egyptian Mummy. He looked to Clover and sighed; it was time to swallow his pride and apologize.
“…awright, Clo; y’got me. I let my pride get the better o’ me. I just HAD to know how you were so dang lucky all the time. So I… figured you had some sort o’ lucky charm hidden somewhere.
An’ it wasn’t just today’s game either that made me wanna know; for the longest time that I’ve known ya, you’ve just been so abnormally lucky. Against Criminals or other casinos, you always were able to sweep them all in a single game o’ cards.
But I know that ain’t no excuse. I was jealous n’ petty, an’ what y’did to me was well deserved. I promise, from the bottom o’ my devilish heart, that I will never go through your or anyone else’s purse again… it’s just too dangerous!
…I don’t really expect you t’ forgive me straight away, Clo, and I gotta have’ta apologize to you too, Buster. I know ya probably told ‘er about this, n’ how I asked you to get involved. That wasn’t right of me, especially to a brother.”
He hung his head low and sighed, repeating everything that happened in his head. He really felt like a right schmuck. Well, At least he was being sincere, and that he learned a lesson he shan’t soon forget.
Clover and Buster looked at each other. Then laughed, perhaps to the little devil’s confusion. He was taken by surprise as Clover scoped him up into a hug.
“You little goober, you know I can’t stay mad at you.” she said.
“We’re glad you’ve learned yer lesson, though.” Buster added, giving his brother a pat on the back as Clover set him back down, “A lady’s purse is sacred, you don’t go digging through it unless she asks ya’s to.”
“And besides, at least you made the trip to the fair a lot more entertaining.. at your own expense. Speaking of which!”
Before Clover forgot, she handed Bendy back the earnings he had lost to her at cards earlier. Every last cent.
“You didn’t actually think I was gonna keep all this, did you?” she said to Bendy, “I’m already wealthy. I never keep any of the cash I win from gambling. it usually goes into the town, the orphanage, the daycare, the library, the school- You get the idea.”
“Iwas going to hand it back to you sooner, but when my sweetie here told me about your little ‘plan’I had the good sense to hold off… At least until you learned your lesson.”
The push from the young feline certainly caught him off guard; hell, her APPEARANCEcaught him by surprise. How was she in that bag in the first place!? He had fallen onto his backside while he stared in befuddlement.
But, at the threat, the demon rose his hands and gave a worried smile.
“Wh-what!? Oh, nononono, Odette! Nothin’ of the kind! I-I was just gonna take a peek, honest! See if there were any lucky charms in there or somethin’…”
Hewasbeing honest… but that’s not gonna save his skin from getting clawed up, was it?
“Huh? You were going to peek into Clover’s purse??”
“THAT’S EVEN WORSE!” She shouted. “You can’t just go look through a lady’s belongings without asking!! Ruby told me that it’s a ‘violation of privacy!’ I won’t let you violate Clover’s privacy!!”
Eventually the set of cars Clover and Buster were in returned to the station. The two were laughing quite jovially as the young woman helped her dizzy boyfriend off the ride.
As they went to the bin to pick up Clover’s purse however. They found Odette holding the purse, looking rather peeved at the one very clawed up Bendy face down on the ground.
“Whoa, what happened here?” Buster questioned.
“Oh yay, you’re back!” Odette chirped as she noticed the two, her mood shifting completely, “Bendy tried to violate Clover’s privacy and stopped him!”
“I can see that but when did you get here?” he asked.
“I can answer that.” Clover said, “Odette likes to ride in my purse sometimes, she did that when she was only a pet, and as a toon she still does it now. Somehow she fits herself in there and just falls asleep.”
“It makes for a great surprise when someone crosses me,” she continued, “And hopefully your little brother got surprised enough that his little ruse is finally over.”
She gave Bendy a slight nudge with foot, just to make sure he was at least conscious.
So I’ve been reading MTMTE and RiD, and I love them, but I can’t shake the feeling that poor Optimus is the only adult on a planet full of kindergartners.
Also, I think Optimus would be the kind of kindergartner teacher that seems all calm and collected, but who actually drinks, like, 12 cups of coffee a day, and who has a periodic eye twitch.

“when the cast is sick” cute headcanons (that live rent free in my head)
buster:
- when buster gets sick with the cold or flu, he never mentions it until someone points out much he’s sneezing or sniffing.
- buster isn’t the type to deny having any sort of sickness but always tries to put the topic down by saying it’s just a “lil’ bug”.
- of course the theatre family is never convinced and they usually find buster passed out from exhaustion in his office chair, snoring away.
- usually when this happens one of them just place a fuzzy blanket over him and let him sleep throughout the remainder of the day.
- buster always tries to keep himself busy when he’s sick with more show-brainstorming or other work (it helps with the stress).
- rosita is usually the first to notice buster isn’t feeling well and makes soup for him (she’s such a mom, i love her).
- meena is the second one to notice and also makes him soup (+ ginger cookies because buster loves those).
- his sneezes are adorable, though. fight me.

- never admits to being sick until someone (usually it’s ash or nooshy, others can’t really do it) give him a death glare that reads “tell me the goddamn truth or i’ll crush you with love”.
- poor beans usually overworks himself with the theatre business—workaholic to the core.
- takes johnny, like, ten tries to finally convince him to briefly lie down or go home and get some fuckin’ rest.
- worst thing about being sick is that he can’t sing and he gets sad.
- when one of his friends come over to take care of him, he refuses to let them do anything for him.
- well, anything besides getting him a bunch of pillows. he needs pillows.
- drinks tea. drinks hot, earl grey tea.
- still a child inside so refuses to take any medicine.

- when johnny’s really sick, usually just curls up in his bed and sleeps literally 24/7.
- will absolutely make himself a nest of blankets and pillows because HE NEEDS IT.

- nooshy has a rock-hard immune system, so she usually doesn’t get sick.
- when she does, she gets very angry at herself.
nooshy:*sniffles while being wrapped in hundreds of blankets* this is so dumb.
johnny: i know, you’ve said it twenty-seven times in the past six minutes.
- nooshy has to play video games in bed—it’s the only way to keep her sane and from running away outside of the building.
- ash and johnny (sometimes they drag meena along) all come over to play video games with her.
- nooshy says at first that she doesn’t want anyone to come over to see her in “such a pathetic state”.
- but then of course she carefully she admits that she loves them all and enjoys their company, although said very grumpily.
nooshy: i ought to crush you guys. *aggressive sneeze*
meena: is she serious?
johnny: that’s just her way of saying “i love you”.

- stubborn as well, and she will go on and on until her body just refuses to function like a normal porcupine.
- ash eventually ends up working all day.
- someone (usually johnny or rosita) will eventually get a phone call and ash will carefully ask them that they can’t get home from the theatre.
- johnny (being her bi-best-friend) brings his truck along to save her and on the way there buys her hot chocolate.
- she’s thankful for this but she’s grumpy and embarrassed at this point so she mutters a quiet “thanks” with her arms crossed.
- she physically has to be dragged or carried to the doctors office.
- ash sits in bed with thousands of tissue boxes surrounding her while she stares at a netflix rom com without any emotion.
- she needs to get up and do at least something.
- so ash gets up and starts cleaning her apartment without a word—inch to inch.
- usually pissed off that her voice sounds like a scratchy record player and that her stupid cold won’t let her sing.
- gets a very specific craving for lemon tarts when she’s sick.

- beautiful when healthy, a complete sniffling, shivering mess when she’s sick.
- doesn’t deny being sick, but never one to mention feeling under the weather first.
- usually she’s grateful that someone points it out for her.
- porsha recovers from her sicknesses very, very quickly. a good night sleep and she’s good to go.
buster: wait, weren’t you sick yesterday?
porsha:*completely fine*yea!
buster: a-and you’re all better now in a day?
porsha:YEA! :D
- porsha is always cold—wrap her in ten thousand blankets and she’d still say she feels a bit chilly.
- she wants cuddles and needs cuddles when she’s sick (and they’re usually given to her without much hesitation).
- when she feels absolutely awful from the headaches and the coughing fits she gets a little dramatic.

- she calms down immediately when she’s given one of rosita’s cold-curing soups and laughs at how ridiculous she must have looked earlier.
- she usually keeps herself cheerful even when she’s sick and eventually she can’t stop smiling from all the love she gets from the theatre crew (when she was sick it was usually one of the house workers who took care of her and not her dad).
For all I love Hannibal, I have neglected to do dog studies so I can actually draw Will and his many dogs like I want to. [And Hannibal, because the idea cracks me up a lot]
So I sat down and figured out general dog breeds, and general names~ but Buster had to be first, obviously!!
