How is Cascada such an iconic and necessary part of Winx culture. Girl didn’t even sign any official deals with Straffi. People just put shops and transformations to her music and the fandom was like “she’s one of us now”

“Evacuate The Dancefloor” was released as the lead-off single from Cascada’s 2009 album of the same name. The single was released on June 29, 2009, and peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song features a rap by Afro-German rapper Carlprit.
I was 34 years old when “Evacuate The Dancefloor” was released as a single. I was blown away by this song the first time I heard it, because it didn’t sound like something that Cascada could have included on the previous two albums that they put out. Also, it’s a very strong and catchy dance song, and it’s a song I still enjoy all these years later.
The music video sees singer Natalie Horler lip-syncing the song in various locations, which includes a club. One of the outfits she wears in this video grabbed my attention, because I was thinking the shirt had a print of Siouxsie Sioux (the lead singer of Siouxsie and the Banshees) on it. According to Wikipedia, that shirt DOES have a print of Siouxsie Sioux on it. I also have to add that there’s some impressive dancing by some of the dancers that appear in this music video. While this sounds like it’s a simplistic video, it works for the sound of the song and what the lyrics of the song say.
