Here’s a video I did showing my studio room and some of the drawing work i’ve done for the last 5 years. This short clip was made during Covid lockdown, in the month of Fabruary of 2021 and it is part of an online event “5 minutes of Dawing ” organized by the Drawing Research Group of CIEBA / FBAUL - Faculty of Fine Arts of The University of Lisbon. “Story of an Artist Growing Old” is a video essay that expresses my PhD investigation which deals with the strange power of Art and its influence on identity and personal development. It’s a personal search for the transcripition of the notion of recognition between reader and work of art and an exploration of the concept of Fandom as a space for individual creation and empowerment. for more about the video (in portuguese): http://5md.belasartes.ulisboa.pt/2021…
I Shall Be Released, a Bob Dylan Cover, by Cecília Corujo.
I think this song it’s still remarkably poignant for the times we are living. 2020 has been a rough year but let’s hope that, any day now, we see the light shining. Let’s take this opportunity to change and improve our world, to make it a fairer place.

“Day is Done”, written by Nick Drake, performed by Cecília Corujo
Here is my take of the beutiful song “Day is Done” of the great Nick Drake. I know it’s different from the original but it’s hard to replicate Nick’s guitar playing and singing. He is one of the reasons I picked up the guitar again. It took me quite a while to learn these fingerstyle patterns and be hable to sing at the same time. I guess during these months i just started playing the song in my own way. It’s not perfect but I’ve learned a lot and it made me a better guitar player. Hope you enjoy it.
