Hi, this is a long post. Bear with me.

Here’s a #CharacterDesign I did of a #Weirdo #Bandit #Goat #Pan boy a while back… I haven’t been able to sit still long enough to draw anything (#HandDrawn or #Digital) for a couple weeks now due to some bad #SciaticaPain. I have learned a hard lesson about needing a good #ErgonomicChair while at my #ArtistDesk. And while a free chair is nice in theory, in the long term it’s not so nice towards your health. Also, it’s a good idea to get yourself outta the #HyperFocus “Zone” every once and a while, take a good break or two, take a stretch and walk around. The good news is that I’ve seen my #OrthopedicDoctor- he gave me a good steroid shot, as well as prescribed some anti-inflammatory meds. He also suggested a few exercises I can do that have really been helping too. I hope to get back to the drawing board again sooner than later! ❤️✌

In most of your stories, your characters will have personal relationships that you’ll need to develop. A great way to strengthen your characters is through their personal relationships, so it’s extremely important that you spend time planning them out. Whether it’s with family, friends or significant others, make sure you put in the work to develop them properly.
Here are some tips on strengthening your characters through personal relationships:
Writing Friends:
Your character’s friendships are important because they will help your protagonist grow and develop and aid them on their journey. If your character has close friends, you’ll need to help your readers understand why they’re friends and what it means to the story. Here are a few things to consider:
- Think about when your characters became friends. Backstory is important when it comes to writing a long-time friendship, so consider clever ways to share this information with your readers. Don’t just say they’ve been friends forever—let your readers in on the story.
- Build a believable friendship. Give your readers something to relate to. People become friends for all sorts of reason, but let us know why they’ve stayed friends. Show us how your characters have grown with the help of each other.
- Understand that friendships change. People change and that can change how friends interact and relate with each other. It’s very possible that your main character will go through some sort of experience that changes the way they relate with their friends. This could sometimes destroy a relationship or strengthen it in some way. Think about how you want your friendships to build your story.
Writing Family:
Families can be either a source of tension or a source of comfort for your characters—or even both. Deciding what type of relationship you want your character to have with their family is the first step. Here are a few things to focus:
- Figure out what people make up your character’s family. Does your character have two parents? Any siblings? Do any extended family members live in your character’s home?
- Think about whether your character’s family offers safety. Does your character feel safe at home? Does the source of conflict in your story come from home? Is the family unit cohesive or are their serious problems? Does your character trust their family?
- Figure out what your character’s home life is like. Can your characters be themselves around their family? If your character is at home a lot, do they act like they usually do? Do they have to hide who they are outside their home? Do they keep secrets from their family?
Writing Significant Others/Romantic Relationships:
Figuring out whether or not you want to include a romantic relationship or not really depends on the story you’re telling. If you think it will detract from your main character’s journey, you might decide not to. However, if done right, it won’t weaken your story if you decide to include one. Here are a few tips on doing it right.
- Focusing on finding a balance. If your novel isn’t romance or erotica, romance shouldn’t be the main focus of your novel. Make sure there’s not too much romance, which means the romance shouldn’t overshadow the main plot.
- Don’t let romance detract from character development. Your character should still grow and develop in some way and this shouldn’t be done entirely through meeting a love interest. Your character needs to grow on their own, not because they’ve been “saved” by someone mysterious and intriguing.
- The romance should add something significant to your story. The romance should reveal something about your characters and hopefully make us relate to them a little bit more. If your love story feels unnatural, your readers will know it’s unnecessary and feel disconnected from your story. Only add a romance subplot if it adds something to the overall plot.

Someone recently asked me for a list of human behavioral traits, so I thought I’d type up a quick list to help with writing. Obviously most people will be a mix of both positive and negative behavioral traits, and also some positive traits can be stretched too far and become negative traits (and vice versa), so try to use a combination to create an interesting character.
Positive Traits:
Reasoning – your character can think about something in a logical and sensible way.
Sensitivity – your character has an awareness of their emotions and the emotions of others.
Self-reliance – your character can rely on their own power instead of the powers of others.
Warmth – your character can be kind and welcoming.
Vigilance – your character watches out for possible dangers or problems.
Stability – your character searches for normalcy and safety.
Open – your character is accepting of others.
Focused – your character has goals, motivations, and wants, and works toward them.
Balanced – your character has a desire to find stability in their own life.
Negative Traits:
Untruthful – your character might lie, cheat, and steal to get what they want.
Violent – your character uses violence to get what they want.
Destructive – your character doesn’t care about creating harm or damage.
Boastful – your character brags about their accomplishments or what they plan to do.
Unreliable – your character is hard to trust.
Narrow-minded – your character is not open to the views of others.
Spiteful – your character does things specifically to hurt other people.
Rude – your character does not respect others.
REMEMBER: using any of these traits doesn’t necessarily make a character is good or bad. We all have negative traits in us and we’re all a balance of different traits. These traits can be used to build a well-rounded character and they can be utilized to fit your world. For example, self-reliance might mean something different in this world than it does in your world. Also, keep in mind that circumstances might make negative traits more appealing to a character.
For example, if your character has constantly been lied to they might not trust other people easily and they might lie. They will be guarded. This doesn’t necessarily make it a negative trait, just a consequence of their situation. A character with a disability might not have the resources to feel completely stable or self-reliant; they might depend more on other characters. Keep these issues on mind when you’re building your characters!

Changes: iron like scales covering body, tail and ears similar to previous form, fully artificial shell on front and back, tank like water blaster on back of shell as well as water sacks on fingertips and palm.

008: This creatures is commonly breed for combat. Due to its highly defensive capabilities it has been used in multiple human wars. Unlike it’s charismatic first form, this creature always seems to be stuck in a bad mood, and is always willing to get into a fight. Considering it’s shell is comparable to the to some metals it’s defensive capabilities are much higher then average.
Changes: scale on the forehead has grown into a captain america-esc face mask. armor-like Scales forming on forearms and lower leg to give a slight impression of gloves and boots. Shell is now smooth in the shape of a military helmet

065: this form is only reached after considerable interaction with humans. At full maturity this creature is known to be an extremely poweful telepath. Often reacting to your thoughts before you do. I has also learned to create physical telekenetic constructs. Often constructs of spoons Ranging in all sizes.
Changes: incorporated dark and light fur from first form around body. Dark mane has grown into a full torso cloak. Added tail to final form. Tail is more fox like. Star fur pattern is bigger ending under eyes. Over all much more fox like.Again Doesn’t inherently have a spoon.

076: at this stage the creature begins to break through its Rocky shell finally exposing it’s skin. The rocks formed on its body become darker and look more like scales. It’s said that when angered the creature will attack by removing the Rocky scales from it’s own body and throwing them.
Changes: longer primary appendages and keeps the secondary appendages from his previous form.

So this was fun. I had this idea of doing a series of an alternate universe where all of the super villains instead of continuing as villains got rehabilitated. The first of which being Carnage whom dispite his troubled past ends up finding heavy metal and rock theriputic and becomes a famous musician.

Over 2000 years ago the dark Knight Sparda wielding his own forged sword (the Yamato) led the demon king Mundus’ armies in conquest of the underworld . Once the the underworld was conquered Mundus’ set his sights on the human world. Mundus’ decided to send his new second in command Sparda on a reconosance mission to the human world. Using his sword the Yamato Sparda cut a rift between the human and underworlds and travelled through landing in early 1900’s Britain. However over time whilst under cover, Sparda developed compassion for the humans
