Marinette probably should have listened to her instincts the first time. It was risky to get too close to Chat Noir, even if they were just friends. (Because the fact her heart was pounding a little faster around him meant nothing at all. Absolutely nothing.)
Marichat friendship shenanigans, some crêpes in the park, a run through a rainstorm, and a talk in a bedroom on friendship and trust.
It was the kind of cliché featured in romcoms: pretend to be a couple, attend a fancy party, nab a miraculous. And, of course, make sure to stay in character. That was the important part.

I really love this one, it gives me plot bunnies (it’s like, just the beginning or a story, but omg the potential it creates!!!) Chat Blanc but Marinette survives the initial blast (my guess is a mix between Chat doesn’t want to hurt her and Tikki deciding to sacrifice herself (or her physical firm) in order to save her wielder)
i say miraculous should do an episode of putting adrien’s different alter egos in a house for 6 months and see the chaos unfold
like imagine chat blanc is just tired af of chat noir’s bs and chat noir is tired of chat blanc’s emo ass and most of the episode is just them insulting each other during the confession interviews
