Translator’s Note: Surgical masks are common to wear when you have a cold in Asia to avoid spreading airborne germs. Also, I believe Mamoru’s last comment is in reference to a Japanese proverb/superstition that fools can’t catch colds. …probably implying that he lost his cold from being stupid as well :D
In a timeline where Usagi eventually becomes Sailor Cosmos, Mamoru, who we know is prone to falling under spells, gets possessed by Chaos in the future and becomes Sailor Chaos. That’s why Cosmos initially runs away from the fight with Sailor Chaos; she’s not just scared about fighting a scary enemy. She’s done that before lots of times! No, she runs away because she just can’t bear having to fight her one and only love again, and to destroy him when she’s already lost everyone else. Cosmos’ grief is severe. She watched Chaos use Mamoru to destroy the kingdom they built together, all the people on Earth and all their loved ones, including their daughter. Cosmos knows that if she defeats Chaos, she will also lose Mamoru and truly have nothing else to live for.
The manga ends with Mamoru remarking that Usagi will always be the brightest shining star, implying that she will truly be eternal. He’s having a premonition of the far future where Usagi will either become Sailor Cosmos or be the only survivor of a future war as Neo Queen Serenity. She will shine on, even when other stars fall.
The senshi all helped out in different ways for Usagi and Mamoru’s wedding. Makoto did the wedding cake and catering, Rei took care of the spiritual considerations for guests, Minako was in charge of the music and entertainment, Ami coordinated everyone and kept things running efficiently. Setsuna was in charge of design elements (decor, dress advice), Michiru who collects cosmetics also knew what products and look would suit Usagi best on her wedding day, Haruka of course was the chauffeur, and Hotaru and Chibiusa assisted wherever they could.
