i hate people who watch a movie just to watch it.
You mean you dont watch a movie, find your fav character, impersonate them for a whole week and then move on to the next movie?
lame…

Oh ho, quite the contrast against Kamen Rider Ichigo, Amazon, and Black!
First off, we actually get a well-lit full view of the operating room that’s fairly sterile. There’s no disorienting shots of the operation compared to the other three. There are not a lot of close up shots either, with the closest being Kazuya’s face and even then it’s not as claustrophobic as Hongo’s operation. Heck, when Kazuya wakes up the POV shots aren’t moving wildly, creating the atmosphere of Kazuya wanting to do this and the operation not being one of horror but of science.
Another point of interest is that most of the episode takes place during the daylight or well-lit areas. When we do get to a less lit area, it’s of course the villains’ lair. Again, this goes with the idea that Kazuya’s operation is not a terrible circumstance. Now, the lab where we started at does get progressively darker as the situation worsens what with Professor Henry dying (seriously, a lot of professors/creators die).
I’ll also add in the ending where we see Super-1 and an untransformed Kazuya side by side. Creating this mirror image gives us an idea about Kazuya’s character, showing us that Kazuya hasn’t changed much on the inside. You get the sense that the transformation into a cyborg is not terrible and the real tragedy is how a group of scientists had to die.
