How To Cover Under Eye Circles!
So everyone has those days where their lack of sleep is showing in more ways than one. One of the most obvious ways is the dark circles that become visible under your eyes. Their are creams and gels that “get rid” of them but their are simpler and safer ways of hiding them.
Here are some products that I would recommend in the coverage of under-eye circles!
1st. You will need a makeup primer. They range in brands and prices, you can find them anywhere!
Primer is EXTREMELY important, primers work wonders by helping any concealer or foundation to adhere to your skin and keep them from settling into fine lines and wrinkles. So go to your local drug store or makeup store and pick up some makeup primer for those tired beautiful eyes.
2nd. Concealer, concealer is the most effective tool for hiding dark under-eye circles. There is a lot of debate as to which color of concealer works best for canceling out those unsightly circles. If your circles are more blue-tinged, use a yellow based concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone. This color masks the blue discoloration and brightens the skin. If you have more brown colored circles, then use a peach or orange based concealer- 80% of all women fall under this category.
The best type of concealer is a liquid based concealer. Apply the concealer with a brush so that it gets into all of the fine lines and looks more natural. Again, you can get concealer from any range of prices at a drug store or a makeup store.
3rd. Foundation, apply your foundation as normal and focus on blending of the concealer if that is what needs to be done. You can apply the foundation with a brush or a beauty blender, whatever you prefer. Make sure to finish off the foundation with a pressed powder to reduce shine.
I hope this is helpful!!
Happy Wednesday everyone!! I hope you are all having a great week so far! I know we’re all surprised here that I purchased more things from Glossier and as always I thought I would share!
So let’s start with the Glossier Stretch Concealer. I have loved this concealer for a while now but sometimes I would choose something else, I now realize it’s because I had the wrong shade.
I purchased one…
