#primer
Hi guys! Its been a while. I would love to introduce you to some products that I’ve been loving throughout this month.
I never bother to use face primers before foundation because honestly, I don’t see a big difference. However, I’ve been using the “No Poreblem Primer” from Touch In Sol and it makes a major difference on my face and I LOVE IT!!! I love how it evens out my skin texture, minimize the appearance of my pores and it’s very comfortable on the skin. I would totally recommend trying it out. You can find it in the Sephora web site and it retails for $18,00.
Another product I’ve been enjoying is the “Tarteist Shimmering Lip Paint” from Tarte in the shade strike gold. Its basically a sheer lip gloss packed with tiny particles of gold glitter and iridescent shimmer. It last for at least 4 hours (I think that’s pretty good for a lip gloss) and it’s very comfortable, you don’t even realize you’re wearing any lipgloss. There are two other shades, insta- famous and flaming hot. It retails for $20,00 in the Tarte web site.
Finally, the last product that I’ve been loving recently is the “Perfector Face Palette” from CoverFX. It’s a tiny palette so it’s perfect for a trip or to carry on your purse. The brightener is a life changer for people that want a subtle highlighter for day time. There’s also 2 blinding highlighters for people that really like that type of look. The blush and the contour are good products and I like using them. The only problem I see with the palette is the finishing powder, just because it has little specks of glitter and I don’t really like to have a shimmery face. Besides this point, I think this product is a great one!! It retails for $45,00 in the CoverFX web site.
Those are my favorite products of this month. Let me know that you think of them or if you’ve tried them!
Sending lots of love.
If I’m honest, for a little while now I’ve felt like I’ve fallen out of love with makeup. The thought of waking up an hour earlier when it’s cold and dark outside is daunting! However, that doesn’t mean I stop wearing it.
So, when Wonderland Makeupcontacted me asking to review a few of their products, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to enjoy experimenting with new makeup again.…
Just watched the film Primer. Best time travel film I’ve EVER seen.

Max Factor Miracle Prep Pore Minimizing + Mattifying Primer Review
Hi guys,
A while ago, reviewing platform We Are Eves has send me the Max Factor Miracle Prep Pore Minimizing + Mattifying Primer to test and review. My review has been on We Are Eves for quite some time now, but I haven’t shared it here yet, so here we go!
The Max Factor Miracle Prep Pore Minimizing + Mattifying Primer comes in a convenient plastic bottle and looks simple, yet beautiful. The pump bottle is easy to use, hygienic and has a convenient size, so you can take it with you in your make-up bag or handbag!
This very lightweighted primer has a thin, liquid and slightly milky texture which is easy to apply. It melts directly into the skin and does not leave a greasy feeling. After application, my skin feels soft and smooth. My face is looking healthy and I have this, nice matte look going on. My skin does not feel dry or tight at all and outbreaks or allergic reactions are not an issue either. So far, so good!
As I continue with my makeup, I notice that this primer is indeed the perfect base for applying makeup. My make up lasts longer and is looking bold and more beautiful. However, I did notice that greasier spots, like my T zone, are starting to shine again after a while, so doing a touch up every now and then is certainly not a luxury. My pores seems to be just a little less visible. Even without make up, this primer is a great base, as it contains SPF20 and gives your face that nice matte finish we all crave.
This primer is scented really neutral, the scent, doesn’t irritate and disappears quickly.
I am actually very satisfied with this primer and I absolutely recommend it, especially for people with oily or combination skin and even for people with sensitive skin, like myself!

Question:
Do you use a primer when wearing make up?
Today I’m just going to write about some of my favorite cheap makeup. Some of these I’ve posted about individually before, and others I haven’t. They aren’t all necessarily revolutionary and life changing, but they are are good and reliable and useful. These are the products I tend to use on a daily basis and that I keep buying when I run out.
This is a long one, so get ready.
- Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel (as primer), $6
Here’s my previous post about this one. I just got a sample from Sephora of Lancome LA BASE PRO Perfecting makeup primer. It costs 42-fucking-dollars a bottle. It looks, feels, and even SMELLS identical to this Monistat shit. I haven’t compared the ingredients, but I’ll wager it is exactly the same. Do not waste your money on that nonsense, or I will have to hunt you down and kick you in the taint.
Get this stuff:
- Wet N Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set in Comfort Zone 738($5)
- e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer ($1) (or any other primer)
