Connie is also a pretty affectionate guy, both verbally and physically so would love a partner that’s the same
While the two of you wouldn’t be like Jean and aggressively make out in public all the time, you’d always be holding hands or have an arm around each other
It’s not about showing off but simply enjoying the time you have together and having the other person close by
As well as that, affection can be used as a way to joke around and mess with each other
For instance, sometimes you’ll be in the middle of talking or doing a chore and Connie will just pick you up and run away
He also likes sitting in your lap or just generally on top of you at really inopportune moments.
The two of you have definitely been told off for inappropriate PDA but Connie really doesn’t care. He isn’t going to let Captain Levi spoil his fun
He also really loves it when you stroke his head. It’s just so calming to him and is a good way to de-stress after all the shit he’s seen
Connie can easily fall asleep like that with no problem, you’re just so relaxing to him he can’t help it
More than anything, he enjoys being close to you, weather that’s cuddling or simply holding your hand. It serves as a reminder that you’re both still alive and Connie will take any opportunity he can get to make the most of it
