Another super cute #dtiys I just had to do This one is by @perdita00 I tried to replicate the colour scheme from the original, but the colours on the root itself didn’t blend very well, so it ended up a bit messy But oh well, I still had fun! And I try not to care so much about stuff like that anymore

Just a little experiment. I really love doing my line art. It’s sorta soothing in a way. But sometimes I’m a bit peeved by time it takes me to finish. So I decided to coloured this piece before I did the lines. Just so I could compare the two and remind myself why I do it

I was so scared to mess this up, I hardly dared to breath while drawing it The old animated movie about Mulan is one of my favourite Disney classics. And I really wanted her to to look as delicate and flawless as possible. And I’m actually very pleased with the result *pats self on the back*

This week just swooshed by. I remember what I did yesterday. But further back, I’m not really sure Anyway, I finished @raqueltraveillustration’s fun #dtiys In the last slide you can see how the drawing looks in the beginning of my colouring process. I sort of map out the drawing with light base colours. Then I match darker nuances to those colours to make the different shades. The cherry on top is of course the white highlights. For this I use a Signo Uni-ball Angelic gel pen
