I’m re-listening to Oathbringer and Sigzil is doing that thing Zuko did post joining team avatar where he tries speaking like his mentor to get the point across but he has no idea how to do it well so it just comes out utterly incomprehensible I love him. He’s like, “what would Hoid do?” And then stumbles his way through telling a weird story that seems utterly irrelevant to anything at all. Perfection.

i know the expected shakadolin reunion will probably have shallan and adolin getting in trouble in shinovar and kaladin swooping in to save them but picture this: shallan and adolin wake up in the middle of the night in their camp. they hear a terrible, discordant screeching sound, like a hundred doors creaking at once. it’s an awful keening wail, painful to listen to. they go out exploring in search for the horrible sound. could it be an unmade? is some poor creature getting slaughtered? finally they stumble through the underbrush into a small campsite and find kaladin stormblessed practicing his flute (szeth is clapping along) (syl is hiding in horror)
