An old piece from back in September 2017 that I somehow never ended up posting. I’d just finished reading the Handmaid’s Tale, and hadn’t watched to show yet. This was my interpretation of the handmaid’s appearance.

Inspired by a poem that stuck with me. It was a lot sadder than this drawing lets on.
