The biological filter plant is blooming!
Not sure what it is, received in barter, but sure happy to see such tiny pretty flowers!
Wish the phone could actually convey all the glorious dancing rainbow colors.
Took some sweet woodruff from the outsides n tried to grow on the insides. Completely failed, however, in that fail a win was discovered. The sweet vanilla-ish scent from the coumarin remains in the dried out leaves, so of course the next thought was to add Fire!
Mmmmm!!!
Nose approved!
Now can’t wait to kill more now, on purpose this time!, for some smudge stick fodder!

Forgot to move the cuttings, again, but yay! The bogs sage & begonia are blooming!
I’ve got my homegrown sweet potatoes from a supermarket sweet potato. Next to it you will now find a purple vine in the same family of plant but with purple flowers! It is most likely an ornamental breed of sweet potato that just loves to flower in this climate. My little garden brings me back to the green world and keeps me sane when everything seems crazy.
I am so in love with purple flowers.

One benefit of living in this valley is the agricultural benefits. The nice long growing season has it so my tomato plants are already going crazy. I love my little sweet potato vines with their heart shaped leaves, I started them from a sweet potato in wet dirt under a lightbulb in December. I love the house plants that asked me to move them outside, my cacti and aloe. I live my bamboo, my Japanese climbing cucumber, my eggplant and tomatillo plants.
The jasmine plant faces the walk so passers by will smell their fragrance. The parade rose I got on valentines day, reported and drastically pruned back is even showing a lot of life.
The plants will be shaded from Phoenix’s harsh afternoon sun in this apartment complex and I have done relatively well with limited space.
