Pretty sure I saw someone asking about the music that played under Daisy & Sousa’s first kiss the other day, and it just posted.

This includes variations on their theme from 7x05 (hacking the lighthouse/the phone), 7x06 (Sousa comforting Daisy), and 7x09 (THE conversation) too. Enjoy ❤️

Another rewatch, another detail:

Look at how he looks at her just before he starts coughing up the blood. He knows he’s just killed himself - he felt it (what? Electro shock? Still unclear) go through his body.

So he’s just looking at her for a moment before he goes, almost like “well, this is it for me. She’s okay, though. She’ll be okay.” And then he starts to hemorrhage.

This brave, devoted idiot. I love him so much.

I’m not in any way set up for vidding anymore, but I wish I was so I could cut a Daisy Johnson/Quake video together for the Ashnikko song “Daisy”.

I’m just putting that out into the universe.

I just finished a rewatch and spotted this, and I don’t know WHY I find it so adorable that he’s using a box of medical gloves as a pillow, but god knows I do.

One has to assume that they have pillows on the Zephyr. I don’t remember if we’ve confirmed that they have sleeping quarters, but even commercial planes have travel pillows. He could have gotten up at any point and said, “Hey, Enoch, do you know where I could get a pillow?”

But no, he didn’t want to leave her for one second so he literally just grabbed a box of medical gloves from the supplies next to him and rested his head on that. This soft and sweet and stupid man. I adore him.

I agree. They have to add some element of mystery, because unlike most Groundhog Day-style plots, the element of no one believing the person looping doesn’t make sense here. Why WOULDN’T everyone believe Daisy was looping, given the situation and some of the other things they’ve seen?

From the two promos that just got released, I think the two major elements are going to be the ticking clock of getting out of the time vortex, and something or someone sentient on board that is actively working against the team (whoever’s choking Daisy in the very first promo would certainly suggest this).

I don’t think it’s Enoch or PhiLMD, though. The “whose side is Enoch on” plot thread has already been pulled a few times (unless it’s not really Enoch, hmmm), and PhilMD’s cryptic line being in the first promo would completely destroy the tension if he were the big bad. I think something snuck on board.

Okay I haven’t seen anyone talk about this interaction yet but LOOK. AT. HIM. Look at how his face instantly lights up with this mixture of happiness and soft concern when he sees she’s up and about.

You know what I love most about this scene obviously other than absolutely everything?

I believe Sousa. I don’t think he had any “intentions” up to that point. He met this very impressive, very cool, very fun woman who he had promised to run backup for, then she got captured and tortured on his watch, and so he made it his mission to get her home and watch over her and take care of her however he could while she recovered.

And during that time of COURSE he started falling for her because who wouldn’t? She’s brave and capable and powerful and righteous, and he’s known people (and especially women) like that, and he knows how cruel the world can be to them. And the more he finds out about her past, the more he has that confirmed.

So he continues to stay by her side and be there for her and maybe lets himself fall for her a little bit. But not for ONE SECOND does he presume that she feels the same, or try to push romance onto her. Even Time Loop Sousa didn’t broach the conversation until she asked for honesty, didn’t kiss back until she kissed first.

I think he’s telling the truth; he didn’t have any “intentions”. He wasn’t being the way he was being to gain her affections; that’s just how he is. He wasn’t doing the things he was doing to get her to like him, or to make her feel that she owed him; he just wanted to do things for her. He just wanted to support her and care for her and back her up because that’s what she deserved. That’s why he looks so genuinely surprised here:

He didn’t have any intentions, but now that he knows that his feelings might actually be reciprocated, well? He got some, and quick.

Basically, I loved these scenes, I love this ship, I love these two for each other, and next week will undoubtedly wreck me. Thank you for attending my TED talk.
