Despite the title of this post, this is a perfect outfit for work in the summer. Most offices and work places will allow a 10 inch Bermuda short, and of course a classic black blazer.

I love this Lion King tank top from Hot Topic, but I wasn’t really sure it was something I could work into my day to day wardrobe. I guess I had forgotten the golden rule of the season, a statement necklace is the solution for everything!

My cropped pants are certainly going the extra mile this spring. It’s too cold to have anything but your ankle uncovered, but at least I don’t feel like I’m in my winter clothes!
I’m not usually a fan of graphic tees (although I have been known to break the rule with concert tees), but under enough jewelry, and with a pair of printed pants, maybe they aren’t so bad!
