Hey, been a while! Just poppn’ in to say that Red & Wolf reached 5K subs on Webtoon Canvas recently! Woop woop!
Thank you to all who are following my comic, we’re about halfway through the story as of posting this. I have learned so much creating it and I hope to be a better storyteller and artist by the end of it. So thanks for coming along on this journey and for your continued patience ❤️

Boy, I sure do like drawing characters gazing into each other’s eyes for some reason, haha

Felt like drawing something angstyyyy and it kind of turned into an experiment with brushes, textures and effects on Procreate ovo

As the weather gets colder in-story, I figured Scarlett should have an outfit that’s more appropriate for cooler temperatures. Might add a few more elements for the Winter chapter but I thought thicker, layered clothing would suffice for the next 3 parts or so. Since Scarlett is largely spending her time meeting Leikos at the threshold border to give him the goods and not traveling within the forest, the red cloak is retired (for now) as borrowing it would raise suspicion. So for extra warmth she will be donning a regular, dark forest green cloak. The color being a visual symbol of her growing closeness with Leikos, who’s tattered coat is of a similar color :>

Since spooky season is upon us, I was itching do draw something stylistically akin to Over the Garden Wall
I haven’t had a reason to draw Anthelm (the Forest Queen) yet so I thought, why not?
I’m excited to explore her dynamic with Leikos when the time comes~ ovo

I really enjoyed Axiom’s End, very much looking forward to Truth of the Divine

My take on Ampersand and Cora (she’s definitely on a step ladder for the sake of composition lol)

Hey there, been a while!

Here, have a hot flower power vamp! ‍♂️

A while ago I decided to try the “Let’s Make A (Hot) Vampire!” art challenge, with my patrons providing me prompts, and this is the result~

I think it’s been long enough that I can talk about this scene without spoiling the most recent part of Red & Wolf. Just wanted to give a shoutout and credit to @shaylalaloohoo for inspiring the idea of Leikos getting stabbed. [The inspiration] :>
Although the manner in which he was stabbed happened much differently, I believe in giving credit where credit is due, haha. I even considered having Scarlett take an axe with her into the forest, but an axe would have been much harder to conceal from her mother.
This scene was oddly one of the things I enjoyed writing/drawing the most in this comic (so far). Not gonna think too much about what that says about me >v>;

Anyway, next part should be out sometime in June. Currently recovering from burnout ‘orz Hope you guys have been enjoying the story so far!

One night when I was struggling to fall asleep I had the idea to draw her with some Venus Flytraps because *~symbolism~*
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, might continue experimenting with render styles, idk :v

And now for something completely different
Back in February I had a dream that compelled me to conceptualize a romantic comedy about a prince cursed to look like a clown and a jester tasked to help lift the curse.

After disrespecting a traveling clown troupe, Crown Prince Basil Frederick Leroy III is cursed to look like a clown. The curse can only be lifted if he makes someone of noble blood genuinely laugh, but the trouble is he’s terribly unfunny, so he enlists the help of Jack Faegan, the Court Jester.
Jack doesn’t get along with the prince but tries to teach him to be funny with promise of a raise in his wages.
They need to lift this curse before the prince’s meeting with the princess of the neighboring country, as the kingdom plans to resolve the growing tensions between the regions with their union.
Lucky for them, however, they hear word that the princess laughs very easily. Thus, Jack and Basil decide to venture forth ahead of the meeting time to make her laugh and break the curse before it’s too late.
Hijinks ensue.
And, if it wasn’t obvious, the romance is between Basil and Jack

Anyway, that’s my idea. I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to doing anything with it, maybe I’ll pitch it as a film one day, idk. But I’m enjoying drawing these two buffoons during my work breaks in the meantime~
