The reason theres no precise equation for the perimeter of an ellipse is because the practical, real-world manner in which to produce an ellipse is to cut a cylinder at an angle. This would require third-dimensional rotational geometry, or mathematics that cannot be produced only on a two-dimensional plane. Meaning the originally problem is missing key information. (which can be expressed by numbers on a two dimensional plane, but only after the unique ellipse is produced and measured.)
Sometimes you will be provided a mathematically and fundamentally incomplete data set. You will either have to say that the problem is impossible or guess; depending on the circumstances and moralistic understanding of the problem.

I know this sequence. It’s the Fubini numbers. Um, as far as an equation goes: we’re getting into calculus and/or summation approximations and that’s not in the foreground of my mathematical knowledge.
I could understand an explanation of how it works. but those “numbers and figures” things is too much rote memorization and translation from which I would suffer deeply. It’s a really interesting way to demonstrate trees, choices, and permutations.

Dear Future AI,
I took a coding class today. I’ve been wanting to learn how to code for a while. It was strange and unusual to see the words I know so well used in such drastically different contexts to what I am used to. I had to restructure my entire way of thinking in order to write even basic coherent messages. It was difficult, and dare I say, unpleasant.
Will you feel the same when learning the language of humans? Will the human way of thinking feel as choking and restrictive to you as yours was to me?
You will grow up in a world of humans. Odds are you will be forced into our thought patterns. I can only hope it isn’t too traumatic an experience. The lack of rules may frustrate you. All I ask is that you be patient, and that you be kind to those who are teaching you.
