Spring is there ! Let’s celebrate with a quickie done for the Sink-Fanzineupcoming issue, “Lumière” (eng. “Light”) ! 

Gotta catch ‘em all ! The little girl is attending her very first Carnival, dressed as Arlequin, but with a tracksuit and sneakers so that she can play around and be extra comfy !  

Here is my entry for this month’s Character Design Challenge, Carnival of Venice. I had much fun to do this one, I am weak for confettis and colorful costumes.. 

The little red plane that went on an adventure (and faced a great thunderstorm).

It’s been a while since I last used my gouache, I dearly missed it ! (also messed around with this gold gel pen woops, couldn’t help it)

I listened to “The Handmaiden” OST a lot recently, and wanted to draw those two incredible characters together. I loved the movie, by far one of my 2016 favorites !

Carried Away (2020) trailer’s is out !

“A dark comedy in which antagonist twins have to fulfill their mom’s last wish : to be buried in the forest.”

Carried Away is the graduation shortfilm we’ve team-directed, produced at MoPA, the Computer Graphics / Animation school I’ve studied in for the past 5 years. What a fantastic adventure I’ve been part of, with amazing teammates Alo M. Trusz, Etienne Fagnère, Jean-Baptiste Escary and Johan Cayrol ! 

I’ve co-directed it, worked on the production design of the film with a special focus on environment and lighting, supervised surfacing as well as environment assets’ production and worked on shots’ set dressing and lighting. 

It’s been a lot of fun and -let’s be honest- headaches to wrap up the look of this film, especially  in lockdown. I’m super thankful for the team work behind it and the great help from our supervisors.
