Between light and shadows
Last night I was thinking about you,
Of how you appeared out of the blue,
Of that dreamy smile, that one can’t hide
When you finally let your heart guide.
.
Oh, I believe I can catch the moon
And live in a perpetual June,
Of flowers bloomed and bright sunshine,
Of tender music and fine wine.
.
Concurrently come the games,
Those that can burn one in their flames,
The power battles and great disguise,
Don’t show too much interest in your eyes!

I wished we could skip that stage
And go directly to the golden age,
When we loose the fear and conquer all,
Dance together in love’s ball.

Well I guess it’s part of the way,
As the wisemen say:
The sun is the greatest source of light
But also of shadows that can fright.
