HAPPY HALLOWEEN/ACE WEEK! How does one celebrate this mash up? Dress up as yourself and scare people with some personal shit instead of ghost stories, of course! I’m gonna preface my ramble by asking you to swipe right if you want info on what it means when someone says they’re a shade of ace (asexual, demi, or grey).
As you may know, I’m a demisexual, and I saw somewhere this year’s #aceweek slogan is “this is what ace looks like”. So I figured I better represent my truth, as it is very niche. You might think “Holy crap I don’t need to know what you do in your spare time”, and that’s fine, but I’m not posting this for you. I’m posting this mostly so any closeted or confused people can see LGBT+ comes in all shapes and sizes and that’s okay. It doesn’t matter if other people can’t wrap their heads around It. In my case some can’t grasp that kink and sexuality are not mutually exclusive, but actually a lot of ace people are big fans. In fact it completely changed my perspective on my own preferences, and helped me feel empowered by my differences, not limited. Which is the other reason I’m sharing this, so now I can put all my confusion and self-hatred from last year’s ace week behind me. When @bitchpudding_ did my ace flag makeup and hair for these photos, I looked in the mirror and almost cried the damn makeup away. I seriously never thought I’d get to a point where I’d look in a mirror and go Fuck. Yes. This is me. I’m so happy with who I am now.
On that note, thank you to @bitchpudding_ not just for doing my makeup and such, and help with modelling But also for being the patient, understanding, and encouraging ally every person with LGBT+ friends should aspire to be

Time for the yearly top nine round up. So apparently this is what you folks liked the most! There’s two of me in here so that’s kinda flattering Mostly older or unfinished art though. It lines up pretty well with how this year has gone for me tbh. It was a year that annihilated my motivation, forced me to go back to therapy, and took friends and family members through covid. It’s still dealing blows to my family this week right at the end of the year! Bottom line, 2020 has been a hell of a struggle. But on the plus side, it helped me appreciate the importance of connecting and disconnecting, with friends and the internet respectively. It was the year I really discovered who I am and what I want, and the confidence in myself that follows I put myself in situations I’d never been in and made some awesome friends/acquaintances along the way. And most amazingly of all, didn’t lose any friends once they really knew what had been going on inside my head. 2020 has really proven to me that I’m blessed with genuinely good, patient people in my life so I’m not gonna apologise for lack of new content this year, some things are just more important than work. Next year however, I already have a few plans we’ll see. I hope everyone reading this has a safe new year, and hopefully we can make 2021 a bit less shitty somehow and I thank you deeply for your support
