so i feel like i can post this now

Y'all they hinted all of those cameos and for what???

Really loved that tease of the Timedoor in the trailers opening behind Wanda. Getting my hopes up

wowwwmobius:

stunning lack of multiverse in that madness

^ this was me, leaving the theater today Doesn’t make any sense to not even have a cameo involving the TVA. Ughhh.

Allow me to write more meta about Stephen being a softie. This is about his and Wanda’s first encounter in the garden. I love how soft he is throughout the whole thing and the fact that he only raises his voice once. But, step by step.

Wanda: “I knew you’d show up sooner or later wanting to discuss what happened at Westview. I made mistakes and people were hurt”

Stephen: “But you put things right in the end and that was never in doubt”

This right there is one of the reasons I love Stephen. He knows what she did and he knows it was wrong, but he doesn’t judge her for her terrible mistake, he waits until she starts explaining herself and while he doesn’t excuse her actions, he puts the focus on her decision in the end, which defines her just as much as her mistakes.

He sees the whole and not just her flaws, and I think that’s beautiful. And so after that he calls her both “an avenger” and “one of the most powerful magic wielders in the planet”.

But of course, she’s lying. The very first thing Stephen says upon seeing the Darkhold is:

“I know the Darkhold corrupts everything and everyone that it touches. I wonder what it’s done to you”.

Still keeping his faith in her. He’s giving her a chance to either explain herself or give enough information so he can make a judgement of the situation. But it’s his reluctance to come to conclusions that I find so alluring. It reminds me of how intently he listened to The Ancient One in DS1 whereas Mordo turned against her pretty much immediately. There’s that side in Stephen where he doesn’t condemn people, not even when they make bad mistakes. He gives them room to talk, explain themselves, and then he acts accordingly.

Wanda: “I’m going to leave this reality and go to one where I can be with my children”

Stephen: “Wanda, your children weren’t real, you created them using magic”.

He says that almost in a whisper, head tilt + looking her straight in the eye. He’s so careful when saying that just so he won’t hurt her. It’s his compassion shining through that I love about that.

But he doesn’t forget that there’s a kid in danger because Wanda is hellbent on killing her, this is the only time during their conversation that Stephen raises his voice at her:

Stephen: “What you’re doing is a flagrant violation of every natural law. If you take that child’s power, she won’t survive”

Wanda: “Her sacrifice would be for the greater good”

Stephen: “Well you can kiss the lunchbox goodbye because that’s the kind of justification our enemies use”.

I like that he says “our” there. It’s clear he still sees her as one of them, one of the good guys, despite her mistakes at Westview, despite her sending a demon after America. He still sees Wanda when he looks at her, even with the suit and the tiara and all that devastation around them.

After the garden he returns to Kamar-Taj and tells the other sorcerers: “Wanda is gone, she has the Darkhold and the Darkhold has her”, but once she reaches the compound he still tries to reason with her: “Wanda you’re justified to be angry, you had to make tough sacrifices”. (It is quite something that this is Stephen saying that, he knows what making sacrifices really means, how much it hurts… and he knows better than anyone else that most of the time no one notices nor acknowledges the sacrifices you make).

The easiest thing would have been to disregard her as being no more than a villain now but he tries again and again and again to reach out to her, he shows kindness and compassion, he tries to be understanding and break through the delusion. It doesn’t work out but he tries… and I love that about him.

I think that’s one of Stephen’s greatest traits (among all other amazing traits because perhaps I’m slightly biased, LOL) is he doesn’t judge people. He even listened to Kaecillius before saying what he did wouldn’t work in the long run. Even when he was annoyed with Tony after getting insulted a few times in Infinity War, he still listened to what he said.

marvel-writing:

Wong’s little digs at Stephen throughout the whole of Multiverse of Madness about him being the sorcerer supreme and not Stephen are iconic BUT when Stephen bowed to him at the end of the film don’t pretend you didn’t shed even a little bit of a tear

Let’s Talk about Tony Stark today ? shall we and now there might be some potential spoilers to Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness here so you have been warned ‍♂️ if you’re not interested you can ignore it from here

Now Listen i fucking love Tom cruise a lot infact i love him even before i started admiring RDJ and he means a lot to me and i freaking love his Films so much but * Him Playing an evil Version of IronMan in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness * idk i have mixed feelings for this ( it might just be a rumour or it might be a genuine leak ) but

i feel its kind of disrespectful to RDJ / Tony Stark / Tony stans and everyone who loved Iron Man in Mcu in many ways and i don’t think i need to explain why‍♂️ i am not saying we shouldn’t have an evil Version of IronMan on Big Screen all i am saying and asking is Why Can’t RDJ play the evil Version of IronMan ? its just a cameo right ? Both RDJ and Tom cruise are Top Tier A1 stars in Hollywood and they both have their own Fanbase and Boxoffice market and infact more people would Rush to screens if they hear That RDJ has a cameo in Multiverse of Madness compared to Tom cruise’s Version bcoz RDJ as Tony Stark is something else and he is incredibly loved and admired everywhere around the Globe and people are gonna go nuts and mad crazy if they witness him as Tony Stark once again on screen doesn’t fucking matter if its just a cameo or even if its an Evil Version .

Having Said that i am actually excited to see how Tom cruise will play the Evil Version of Tony Stark but it would be really nice if RDJ played it like come on it would be so nice to see a Version of Iron Man Who fucking killed Steve Rogers during civil war and also killed Thanos and has his head on a Jar with full of water in his Locker as trophy ( you think i am making this up ???? this shit is actually from the potential leaks / Rumours ) and it would be DOPE if we See RDJ’s Version of Iron Man doing all of this and you can literally Cast Tom cruise for any other serious or Big Roles in Mcu instead of this fucking stupid out of the Blue Cameo

Killing him in every version of what if series , Blaming Tony for vulture & Mysterio in the Spidey flicks ( what a poor way to design the villain character arcs especially Mysterio villain Origin is so fucking hilarious ans dumb ) and i will never forget that script of wanda vision which didn’t make into the final scene where wanda talks shit about Tony !!! HE’S FUCKING DEAD !!! MOVE ON BE RESPECTFUL TO THE CHARACTER WHICH BUILT YOUR UNIVERSE IN THE FIRST PLACE !!! If not for the success of IRON MAN at boxoffice Mcu would have Never Made it this Big and its a fucking fact but instead of being thankful and respectful Marvel studios and the writers are being disrespectful towards the character in so many ways

I really don’t know what’s the Marvel’s issue here ? I do understand Mcu wants to move away from the AURA Of Tony Stark / IronMan after endgame and move on but you gotta understand No matter how hard you try you can’t erase his iconic legacy, i mean he is LITERALLY almost Mentioned in Every Mcu project that happened after Endgame

like always In the Conclusion what i am Saying is the Russo Mfs can kill Tony stark but can they kill his legacy ? The answer is NO AND NEVER BITCH

TONY STARK WILL ALWAYS BE THE HEART OF MCU

so…now that MoM has been out for a while, can I tell how much I loved and hated the sort-of jumpscares in the movie? because, fuck did i scream a couple of times in the theater.

so there was that one specific scene in multiverse of madness during which my sister started laughing a bit and i turned to her and said “so this is how the sauron-finrod rap battle went down” and she was like “that’s what i was thinking” which just shows clown minds think alike and also LOL

so i went to see MoM last night and i was high af so when zombie!strange came on, all i could see was the necromancer from legacies shit had me geeking like i seen this dude before ???

LIKE I GET WHAT WANDA WAS GETTING AT BUT SHE WAS JUST PISSING ME OFF THE WHOLE TIME LIKE SHAWTY YOU DOING TOO MUCH?!

but the movie was soooo good i hope we get to see more of america chavez she’s so adorable and i hope she finds her moms again
