I’m devoted these days to come up with cuasi- abstract but very colorful paintings which will hang in my recently finished kitchen. Very neutral slate-ish background.
With all galleries and selling venues closed, I’ve finally turned my attention to my own house and it’s decoration. Very productive!

Last night I got on the phone with a couple of friends, quarantined far away. There was an underlaying sense of anxiety and uncertainty for the future in our talk. Loneliness too, even if surrounded by others. The virus kept creeping up. They are not dealing very well with this sudden change of pace and way of living. I realized that although I am managing, after all I am quite comfortable at home and I have tons of art supplies, I do miss going to the woods or the freedom to say…hey I do want to go outside and see people today. So to all those who are having a hard time these days, I can’t offer you solutions nor many words of advice, but here is a bouquet of fantasy flowers. From my hands, with a sencere wish of calmness and warmth, to you.
This too, shall pass.
