Wednesday! Although it could be any other day considering how confusing it is (for me at least) when your daily activities change so often. No structure really. One day school, the other day no school. Holidays, but nowhere to go *sigh* I’m having a “not so good day”. Oohmmm… it will pass!

My phone fell on the floor this morning at the supermarket. Just when I had to jump to move away from a man who had no respect from my personal space. I’m not even talking about Corona-rules of conduct. I mean, my space Sir!
No matter how many protective cases, phones somehow manage to flip in the air and fall right on that corner a d shatter the whole screen.
Rage. That’s the face you see there.
Because I don’t like spending hundreads of € in repairs.

So, youngest went back to school today. She couldn’t wait to see her friends again. It was weird to drop her off outside the building, not see other kids or the teacher. But she was happy, and it helped to have a few hours to dedicate to some pretty flowers like these ones.

Spent most of my saturday working in the garden. What a mindful, resting activity it is. To me at least. Poppies are a few days from bursting open into a world of color. I can’t wait. We do need a bit of rain, weather gods. If it’s not too much to ask. Even though I wore sunscreen, I’m now super tanned. I don’t mind being tanned but I’m amazed at how strong May’s sun is!!

I’m devoted these days to come up with cuasi- abstract but very colorful paintings which will hang in my recently finished kitchen. Very neutral slate-ish background.
With all galleries and selling venues closed, I’ve finally turned my attention to my own house and it’s decoration. Very productive!

I’ve kinda lost track already of how long we’ve been in quarentine. Will we be starting week 5 now in The Netherlands?? Only thing - well, one thing- that bums me out is the fact that after months and months of constant rain, now we have great weather. Sunny, warm (but not too warm). Great for a walk in nature. But, alas… we can’t.
