Final swap,

I originally was gonna have kiibo and tsumugi be a pair, as the only two who don’t swap. That would be more upsetting for kiibo since he wants to be human and tsumugi is just sooo plain monokuma forgot about her whoops.

Instead I decided it would be more interesting if Kaito and Kiibo swapped so I guess Gonta was spared instead lol

Kaito’s body at this point would already sick, so Kiibo’s time as human would be miserable (which isn’t helped by the fact that Kaito tells him this is normal for humans so kiibo doesn’t spill the beans) which makes him question if he even wants to be human, which males him confused and sad.

As for Kaito, he needs to stop kiibo from talking about his illness and unfortunately kiibo is the type to innocently bring it up. So he needs to lie and then there’s also the fact that Kiibo’s body is kinda pathetically weak and a robot can’t put on muscle, which is embarrassing for work-outs, oh and that all of Kaito’s emotions feel weirdly suppressed and almost calculated, and for Kaito who leads every decision with emotions and “gut feelings” he’s left more than a little lost.

Working on some V3 character concepts! I hope to make these into stickers once I can digitally edit them. Trad art for now though!
