Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of the baby boy. William and Kate’s baby was born Monday 22nd July at 16:24 and weighs 8lbs 6oz.
No news yet of the name of the baby, through history it has been weeks to months before the name has been revealed but a couple of statements have been made; first the offical royal statement that Katherine and the baby are healthy and doing fine and the second statement came from the doctor who delivered the royal baby - “Wonderful baby, beautiful baby”.
The new member to the royal family is now third in line to the throne, which has created an historic moment for our monarchy.
“But I couldn’t quite shake a sense of sadness, too, at the powerful impression that this young family, happy in themselves, is struggling to adapt to life in the spotlight. Can you cope with this, I asked Meghan at the end? I don’t know, her demeanour seemed to suggest, I just don’t know. We are, she said, taking it one day at a time.

This is my struggle here there is a one part of me that wants them to leave for their own wellbeing and feel that they truly do not need BRF because they can do even bigger things without being held back. The other part of me is saying they should stay because leaving would just give the hateful, jealous, racist, bigots what they want and you should never allowed idiots to have control over you or life.
Leaving tells these people that any time someone joins the family that isn’t apart of the status quo or excels/shine brighter than others they could just repeat what they are doing to Harry and Meghan so that they can get what they want.
I will say that not only do Harry and Meghan have to make some hard choices here but also The Queen and Charles need to ask themselves if they really want to leave the future of the monarchy in the hands of Will, Kate and Andrew. Now we don’t know how the long the Queen has and Charles may not have the longevity of either of his parents. I mean what if in the next five years The Queen, Philip, and Charles die, and Harry and Meghan have departed from the BRF. BRF would be dependent on two lazy brats and a pedophile. That doesn’t sound like good options to me. Then again that family deserves the absolute worst so Will, Kate, and Andrew would be karma.
I just have to say I love that there was clearly coordination between the working members of the BRF and Harry and Meghan on these statements as they came out at the same time and seem to be very consistent.
Knowing some in the media, they want to pounce on any situation to further the brother vs brother story. No doubt some would be even more interested in that narrative here because it directs attention away from the scathing commentary on some horrible media tactics and a lack of accountability and even cover up that took place at the BBC.
I’m sure some will still gaslight William and Harry’s reactions, but I thought both statements were both powerful and I appreciated that they are clearly a united front on this.
You know what would be more powerful than not posting on social for one weekend? Saying that the reason you are boycotting is because of racist abuse online.
Kate doesn’t get a pass from this either as the British Lawn Tennis Association is joining the boycott but the KP content is tied to William and the FA. I wish she was included in the statements. Like even just an RT of the LTA’s statement.
Remember less than 3 years ago when William made that strong speech against social media companies’ inaction? Compare the two comments and his posts today are so tepid in comparison.
