Here’s a concept of a young Dís for a short comic I’ll probably never finish. In it she runs away from home and pretends to be a human man for a time, as she is tall enough to pass as long as she hides her ears and avoid eye contact with other people.

Fun fact! My version of Dís is very tall for a dwarf, I hc that dwarrowdams in general are taller and bigger than the other dwarves, but she’s of an unusual height even for a dam. This is sometimes used undermine the royal family (and herself) as some dwarves question her heritage and suggest that she’s not a full blooded dwarf.

I’m a liar lol. I really like the beard and I realized a flaw as well in the creation of it.

I used a blend on human and synthetic human-quality type hair, so the styling would be difficult. Since half cures with heat, the other cures in the cooling, so I will make others and sell them instead.

I am so sorry, but I’m glad I caught it earlier lol. And it’s mostly because I want it like the gold on erebor lolol

Aaalright, so MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! And also i wanted to post what I’m finally working on lol.

so, my idea for my costume this time, instead of making my ‘gaudy Durins day’ dwarf gown for my Moria costume series because i love my little Moria lol. But this time because of the tight time limit i have given myself with my severe procrastination, i have decided to make the costume from the laketown section of my fanfic ((don’t ask where to read it lol. I haven’t gotten to that point where I’m happy enough with it to post lol. And it’s mostly in my mind. One day though haha))

The ax is 42" and is quite big in hand. Sized it to help me look smaller in pictures, and im guessing that it’s around the size of a normal one-handed ax, human wise if im a dwarf. ((lol, correct me if I’m wrong haha)) and so basically that’s what I’ve started and today is when I’ve started lol XD ill post pictures of the clothes tomorrow. Idk if i posted jacket yet, it will be new here. I hated the first time i wore my ‘quest’ costume, so I’m hoping to get better pictures lol. New big beard, weapon, and lake town-Esq clothing yay! Lol
