Here’s my costume for the Hobbit themed competition the Finnish Tolkien Society has organized! If you wish to vote for me, gohere and choose number #9. It’s in Finnish, but you just need to choose from the list and press submit! :)
I dressed as a lady dwarf. I had intended to go as Dís, mother of Fíli and Kíli, but the wig I received was a bit too red, so I guess I’m just some dwarf lady in general :) Or maybe Gimli’s mother (with no known name…)

About her:
- her full name is Mountaindaughter Tarrin of the Firebeards with Mountaindaughter being a title akin to princess
- she’s the eldest daughter of the King under the Firemountain and one of the most eligible bachelorettes among her race
- while she was first in line to inhered the title of King under the Firemountain she decided against it and transferred the right of inheritance to her younger brother
- her family still hopes she’ll return one day to take the title but they still support her
- she’s interested in archeology and has written already a few essays and a book about her peoples history
- her biggest goal in life is to retrieve the knowledge lost in the last sundering of her people
- as Mountaindaughter and member of the Firebeards she’s also an ordained priestess of the God of Fire, called Opantikaras, and well versed in fire-magic as well as in healing spells

I drew two of my favorite D&D NPCS, they are paladin commanders so I drew them in some simple training attire. :)

The Arena of Fire Battle Map

Lava flows around an raised stone stage, seemingly carved for the express purpose of an epic boss battle.
Troy’s had a fire-themed monk encounter in the works for some time now, and this is my take on their dojo. I imagine it as an ancient ziggurat with some long-forgotten alternate purpose, but the sheer heat and scorching atmosphere might be irresistible for someone studying the blaze…

Printing spree! A dwarven axe in the making!
All our t-shirts are 100% hand printed by us and are brought to life inside our small self-built workshop. We use environmental-friendly inks and only listen to epic fantasy OST when printing tees. We do it slow and we take great pride in our craft.
