Grantaire whose native language isn’t French (first generation immigrant) and his French is really good, but he slips back to his native when he’s tired or when he swears and also during sex, so Enjolras would hear a string of words in a completely different language and just nod and go “I think Grantaire just stubbed his toe”.
Enjolras and Grantaire lying in bed after sex with R trying to teach him some things and Enjolras is extremely bad at languages and keeps fucking up and they laugh and tease and it’s their little inside joke.
Enjolras who decides he’s going to surprise Grantaire and learns a sentence to say, but between him putting it on Google Translate and his horrible, horrible accent, he whispers it in his ear and Grantaire just pauses, frowns for a minute, and then laughs for fourty minutes straight.
Step-siblings Grantaire and Musichetta who were competitive dancers in their teenage years and can still fall into rhythm and be extremely graceful together at a moment’s notice.
Except that now, instead of putting on fancy, uncomfortable clothes and dancing for a bunch of people judging their every imperfection, they use their superpowers (as Bossuet calls them) to goof around whenever someone puts on music for their friends who cheer them on whenever they do something particularly flashy.
For a long time Enjolras doesn’t know, because he doesn’t usually go out with the Amis at night, and then on the 1st of May they’ve gone to have a picnic at a park after the demonstration, and someone puts on music. And Grantaire gets up, does a big, mocking bow in Musichetta’s direction, and asks her if she would do him the honour.
And Enjolras is mesmerized. He didn’t know Grantaire could move like that!!
I’ve been thinking about Yaoyorozu’s quirk and the drawbacks and it got me thinking,
because she has to eat a lot, and because her body uses fat cells to create things, her body would constantly be gaining and losing weight.
(Horikoshi is a coward for not giving us chubby Momo.)
Because she gains an unknown amount of weight at one time (I’m assuming it’s quite a lot for her to create large objects), she would either have a light cycle or not one at all. The same logic goes for her losing it quickly (making constant trips to Recovery Girl’s office)
And there’s a very good chance that she would go through periods of the day not feeling well and because bodies do this, her body would see her nutrition depleting and then store quite a few of her fat cells and the energy from the food she’s just ate, keeping her from using it for her quirk.
And because of this, her body could become resistant to losing weight at a certain amount as a way of survival and way of keeping herself regulated so it would make a lot of sense if she wasn’t so thin as she is depicted to be.
Give Us Chubby Momo
It would also make a lot of sense if she was hypoglycemic.

Also give her a snack pouch full of like granola or something.
I think it would be really cool if Horikoshi or someone else touched more upon how her’s or any of the other‘s quirks might react differently and figuring out drawbacks or how their bodies would work.

Do you ever wonder how He Tian became the romantic that he is? I do, all the time. Especially since a lot of what we learn about romance and love when we’re young is through examples we see around us.
Though it doesn’t seem like He Tian had that in his immediate vicinity. We don’t know exactly what happened with his parents but the way he speaks to his father doesn’t lead me to believe that he saw his parents lovingly holding each other or whispering affectionate words to one another as they embraced. For all we know his mother may have passed when he was very young and he doesn’t have any memories of her at all.
So where did it come from? Was it through movies? Books? Other forms of media? Or is this just something that is inherently a part of who He Tian is as a person?
And he shows his love in all of the different love languages. I won’t analyze every single one of them but I’ll just include examples (even so this is definitely going to be a long post).
Words of Affirmation
Can you imagine what it must have been like for Mo to hear that? It’s the exact OPPOSITE of how people have been describing him for years. For years Mo has been the son of a criminal so he probably cheats and steals and is an all around bad person. But He Tian sees Mo for who he really is underneath the scowl and the sharp tongue - he sees the heart that is sometimes too big and too sensitive for the world that he lives in.

He expresses his desire to see Mo, to spend time with him - Mo who has been ostracized by his fellow classmates and society at large all because he’s guilty by association. But He Tian doesn’t care, he would spend every waking moment with Mo if he could. Which brings us to…
Quality Time
He’s genuinely interested and invested in Mo’s thoughts, his hopes, his dreams. And he’s always asking for more time to spend with Mo, even going so far as to show up at his workplace just for a chance to be close to him (unfortunately he’s disruptive and it just ends up pissing Mo off).
Acts of Service
Again, just his absolute devotion is overwhelming. He would do anything to prove his love to Mo - to prove that it’s real.
Receiving/Giving Gifts
I think this one is technically receiving gifts but He Tian is generally the gift giver (though Mo did gift him that sandwich when He Tian had his mouth rash).
Gifts that are truly thoughtful and given with intent. So lovely to see.
And finally He Tian’s personal favorite (and mine too!)
Physical Touch
There are so many but this one in particular is so powerful. He’s literally keeping Mo together here.

Mo is still my favorite character in the manhua but damn if He Tian isn’t coming in a very close second these days. It’s really beautiful to see He Tian expressing himself this way because he really appears to be an individual that loves deeply and truly. It’s just a part of who he is, a romantic and devoted soul that found his other half. His other half isn’t quite there yet but he’s learning to be patient because he knows it’s worth it. He’s all in - now and forever.

Yes he is definitely a guy that loves to show his love by touching. But I think he also wants to be touched, to be held, to feel save and loved. Fortunately Mo is more and more willing touch He Tian too.

I have a headcanon for their future when they are in a real ass adult relationship. When they are out meeting the other guys or really just Mo working He Tian always is a wailing whining manchild and wants to go home because Mo does not show affection in public and does not like to be touchy-feely in front of other people but in private they are like
“Kris” is actually just a nickname and short for a full name they’re really embarrassed by, and of course their friends won’t stop teasing them when they find out about it

In the convict childcare AU, Michael actually takes awhile to understand the weight of the revive book and that it’s meant for only Very Extremely Serious things (and being a small child, he doesn’t know what counts as Very Extremely Serious). He knows that he’s not supposed to mention any of the books around c!Sam (not that Sam would understand him anyways), but he doesn’t what is and isn’t a situation that would call for a revive book.
So for awhile before he learns, it’s just like:
Michael, who accidentally broke Chicken: “Should we call God?”
c!Dream, amused: “Nah, I’ve got a sewing needle.”
Michael, seeing a small hole in the wall that Dream spent awhile carving to hide things: “Should we call God now?”
c!Dream, carefully hiding the hole: “No, this was intentional.”
Michael, who made a mistake on his drawing: “Surely, now is the time we need to call God?”
c!Dream, very glad they have white ink: “Buddy, I am about to teach you the joy of white out.”
He gets it eventually though! Michael’s delighted when they’re reviving c!Ranboo because this time!! It’s correct!!
(XD absolutely gets a hug from Michael, because he looks like Dream and despite Dream being generally Uncomfortable with the god, he plays nice for Michael’s sake. XD is absolutely delighted, and uses this as empirical Proof of being Good At Human).
It wasn’t that Michael didn’t love Chicken, he did! Really! His caretaker had sewn the plush bird for him by hand. The needle alone had taken ages for his caretaker to carve out of wood from their dresser, and the thread had been carefully picked out of the sheets. Putting the two together with some scraps of cloth from clothing had taken his caretaker hours. Chicken had been born as a result though, and Michael adored the plush.
Chicken was the one who kept him company in the bathtub when the Warden came to visit. Chicken was the one who his caretaker promisedcould always go with him. Even when the Warden came to take him away to go to the nether, Chicken was allowed to go too. Michael hadn’t gotten many gifts in his life, but Chicken was the best one.
But Michael was tired, and he was mad.The Warden had come by, and Michael was left in the bathtub. When his caretaker had come to get him, he was hurt again.His caretaker was limping, and Michael could smell blood.
“It’s fine.” His caretaker had said, nudging the bread the Warden had left towards Michael. But the bread roll was still whole, and even though Michael was hungry, his caretaker hadn’t eaten yesterday. Michael had to tear the bread himself and make his caretaker take it. Even then, his caretaker only ate after Michael made it clear he wouldn’t take a bite unless they were both eating.
Then his caretaker had limped over to the bed and fallen asleep, and that was okay! Michael knew his caretaker needed rest, but the smell of blood was still in the air, and Michael knew his caretaker should’ve been eating more, and Michael hated the Warden and-
Michael blinked, a tear at the corner of his eye. Chicken wasn’t in his hand anymore. Chicken was-
Oh no.
He hadn’t meant to, but he’d been so angry-
Michael stumbled across the floor to where Chicken’s body was. It’s head was laying mere feet away, with the scraps of fabric used for stuffing laying about the ground.
Scrambling, Michael tried to put to back together, tried to do somethingbut the pieces wouldn’t stick and he didn’t know what to do!
Overwhelmed and heartbroken at what he’d done, Michael curled up in the corner to cry.
Michael stayed in his corner for longer than he could keep track of. He stayed until he heard a worried voice calling out for him, still half asleep.
“Michael? Where are you buddy?”
Quickly, Michael let out a whine in reply, one that made his caretaker scramble to his feet and stumble over. Ignoring his leg, which must still be hurting and making Michael feel even worse.
“What happened? Are you hurt?”
Michael shook his head, lifting his hands up to sign as best he could in the dark of the room.
‘Hurt-Chicken-Sorry’
His caretaker tilted his head, first taking in Michael’s signing, and then looking at the floor. Gentle hands reached out to scoop up Chicken’s body with a relived sigh.
“It’s okay buddy, it happens. I can fix 'em up tomorrow. Why don’t we sleep for right now though?”
Michael glanced at the wreckage in his caretaker’s hands. Could that much damage really be fixed? Maybe his caretaker would make a book? Like he did to make Michael better?
'Book-make-better?’
His caretaker took a moment before laughing softly.
“Nah, we won’t need a book for this. Just thread and a bit of time. It’s not bad enough to drag XD into this.”
'Really? Thread-make-chicken-better?’
“Yep, promise. Now come 'ere. Let’s get to bed.”
Rubbing at his face to clear away the dried tears, Michael got to his feet and toddled after his caretaker who lead him to the bed and helped him up. Usually, this was when he would get Chicken, but for tonight, his caretaker tucked Chicken into the frame of the bed.
Instead of Chicken, his caretaker moved so Michael could hold onto his shirt, like he used to before Chicken. One of his caretaker’s hands came up to stroke his head in a soft soothing motion. Michael found his breathing was still stuttery. His heart still beating hard.
“It’s okay buddy, I can fix it, I promise. I can make it better- I’ll make all of this better. Just trust me, okay?”
Taking a deep breath, Michael let it out and nodded. That was right. Michael might’ve done something bad, he might’ve broken Chicken, but his caretaker was here. Next time, Michael would do better. He wouldn’t let his anger get the best him again.
But if he did, if he messed up again, it would be okay. His caretaker was here, and he’d make everything better. Just like he always did.
In the past, I’ve talked about the history of my Ender Dragon Hybrid c!Dream, how he was basically raised by an Ender Dragon + Enderman for a long while before finally going to the overworld and meeting c!Bad.
Well, during this period where he was being raised, because he’s a founder (spawned in by a world glitch), he has the ability to understand most languages on a surface level without introduction. So, when Enderman brought him books from other dimensions, he was able to learn how to read and write quite quickly.
The problem is that while the Ender is a written language, the Ender Dragon wanted him to learn English first, as it’s the primary language of the server, and the Dragon knows that Dream will need to make contact with humans eventually. The problem is that neither the Dragon nor any of the Endermen actually know what English looks like when written. So the Endermen just grab some books that aren’t written in Ender and hope for the best.
The end result is that c!Dream’s first language was actually written Piglin, followed by Ender, and then finally English. Although verbally he learned Ender first, the English from c!Bad. Written Piglin is an extremely difficult language to learn, to the point where most piglin hybrids don’t actually know it, let alone anyone else.
So imagine c!Techno’s surprise, when he writes a note to himself in piglin to keep it secret, only to have c!Dream lean over his shoulder and start reading it out loud without any issues. c!Techno had suspicions about c!Dream being a founder, and they get 100% confirmed when Dream reveals that he can somehow read piglin fluently but barely speaks the language. He still didn’t see the Ender Dragon thing coming though. Nobody saw the Ender Dragon Thing coming.
I headcanon that when Violet was born she came out on time after 9 months. Violet gave her mother your usual pregnancy pain n shit but when born she wasn’t crying. She didn’t come out crying but she sure came out definitely invisible. Dash was born 5 months early yet fully developed because of his speedy powers. Jack Jack is the one who caused Helen to gain some real weight in her breast and hips (mostly hips). Her pregnant belly would seem to look like it would get bigger a day but somehow smaller the next day. Everyone assumed it was just Helen’s powers malfunctioning they guessed but it was really Jack Jack “using” his growth abilities.
All of the births were done by a super who was a doctor specifically for supers.
I honestly do not have any excuses for not creating more content for this AU other than being a lazy arse, I hope you guys can forgive me one day..

They’re frenemies at best and a threat to humanity at worst. Anywhere in between is a rare occasion.
Frenemies in a way that they almost never agree with each other when it comes to trivial things.
Basically, Chiba finds American pop music generic and boring while Nakamura finds metal and hardcore punk too noisy.
And they fight over it. A lot.
It all started when Chiba mentioned that he dislikes Charlie Puth’s music. Nakamura was offended and soon, war broke out.
The class had to watch, utterly baffled, as Chiba and Nakamura went to have a somehow well-articulated screaming match that lasted about 10 minutes before Korosensei had to break them off.
Literally the only artist who releases music that both of them liked enough to not start arguments is Simple Plan.
Korosensei had once attempted to unofficially implement Philosophy class during homeroom time to help the class further develop their communication skills. But soon reconsidered when Nakamura and Chiba began fighting for having opposing opinions on a topic once again.
Honestly speaking, if not exhausting, their arguments can be pretty enjoyable to witness, especially with Chiba’s sarcasm, Nakamura’s wit and their… diverse choice of words.
Hence, half of the time, they argue simply for wanting to keep each other entertained.
Although he doesn’t really crack jokes, according to Nakamura, Chiba’s comedic timing with his sarcasm is impeccable. (His dry responses to Okajima’s dirty jokes are what’s making them funny in the first place.)
Nobody in the class knows who exactly coined Okajima’s newest nickname “Oka-kin”, but for sure it’s either one of these two.
If they had partnered up instead for the test of courage back in Okinawa, it’d be a long series of running and screaming. Nakamura reacts strongly to being spooked, while Chiba absolutely cannot handle horror at all.
They’re both quite active on social media, especially on twitter. If you’re mutuals with both their accounts, almost everyday you could see Chiba cussing her out on a tweet, because she likely had forced him to see something he didn’t like on his homepage.
This has probably already been said, but it struck me today how Din cocks his head without the helmet on the same way some of us hard of hearing folks angle our good ear towards the speaker. With the helmet he always looks straight at the person he’s talking to/listening to (not much peripheral vision with the visor I expect). But here he has his head angled slightly while looking at the speaker almost sideways. May I suggest that the helmet has hearing modifications and without it perhaps Din suffers from some hearing loss. Which might also explain part of his confusion in this scene (on top of overwhelming anxiety and stress). He just couldn’t hear half of what was being said to him
Lo'lo heard somewhere that crocodiles eat rocks in order to help their digestion, so when experiencing stomach pains he decided ‘Why not?’ and tried it. This is solely the only reason why the Fanalis Corps have had to learn the Heimlich maneuver so that Lo'lo doesn’t literally choke on a rock and just die. As much as I love Lo'lo, he’s dumber than the rocks he keeps trying to eat and doesn’t learn from his mistakes.
Tony absolutely loves being a father figure for Peter and Harley and supporting them in their science as well as just their general life.
One evening, he’s over at Aunt May’s for dinner with her and Peter and May brings out photos of Peter as a baby and a toddler and it’s the cutest thing Tony has ever seen. When he’s back at home, snuggled in bed with Steve, he tells him about it. About how great Peter and Harley are but how he kinda wishes he would have already known them as toddlers, seeing them grow up? Tony than falls asleep while Steve lays awake, considering if he should tell Tony that he had researched about adopting a child already?
With Shiro I find he is very openly caring and pays attention to everyone in his company. What defines how Shiro feels towards people is in his eyes, when he speaks to Keith in the beginning of season 2 he has a tender expression and often has this tender expression when Keith’s around, but that one look in season two half of him thought he wasn’t going to make it so we got to see some of his raw emotion and that look shows how much Keith means to him. I think Shiro has learned very much how to wall things, not express things as much cause certain feelings or establishments would act as something that would bind him and with having a mission and the universe to save having that with someone could affect the mission causing people to suffer in the long run, so on Shiro’s part it’s a very “I have to do right by the major majority rather than personal feeling”. As I said his feelings are expressed in his eyes and the way he looks at Keith, you can’t hide what’s reflected in them no matter how much he walls.
There is no walls in this expression, this is an example of what I said about raw emotion showing, its very clear to me in this moment. Its very much a reflection to how he feels and that something he always told Keith has been taken into consideration and remembered and even though his unsure if he will make his left something behind with Keith, that he knows that will help Keith.
Keith doesn’t have that much experience with having an extensive amount of people in his life, this is why Shiro is so important to him, it’s the first person he felt an established relationship with. To me I see Keith’s view on Shiro is very conflicting, in order to define what feelings he has for him he needs to have a vast amount of people in his life and feel what friendship feels like and what family feels like, this is why the group is so important for Keith. It helps build bonds he’s never experienced before. I think any labeling from Keith would stand as a basic for how important Shiro is to him and even the label of brothers is the closest thing he can pin point to say how special Shiro is to him even if Keith did have romantic feelings towards him, he wouldn’t understand or be able to express what he’s feeling cause up until now he’s had nothing to compare it to, hence why there are a lot of undertones hinting that Keith and Shiro do have feelings for each other, neither of them would express it due to one of them has got solider mentality, mission comes first, and the other needs to learn other social connections and learn to define one feeling from another. Yet I think how Keith shows his feelings towards him through action, body language and over protectiveness, like “Shiro’s in danger I have to go save him” because the thought of losing someone that meant so much to you again, unbearable right? If Shiro is in danger Keith has a very lock on Shiro mind-set that is very noticeable.

Here’s a list of misc headcanons that I have about detroit become human (some spoilers for the game). These are based on food/eating with androids.
- yk-500 models are designed with the ability to eat food. This makes sense because in game Kara is instructed to feed Alice and Rose also makes food for Alice when she would probably know what a yk-500 model looks like.
-yk-500 models, though, cannot use this food for energy like a human child. It’s simply for aesthetics/comfort of their caregiver.
- continuing, all standard care taker and housekeeper androids are able to sample food for quality, taste, more indepth nutritional values, and possible allergins. This includes PL600s, AX400s, and Markus’s model.
- the sophistication of this feature depends on the model.
- also, rk800s ability to sample evidence is a form of this, so in theory, Connor could sample food if he wanted to.
- this also means that in the future, androids may be able to upgrade themselves to be able to at least taste basic food, if not eat it like yk-500s can. Some choose to do this to integrate while others find the concept strange/uncomfortable and decide not to.
- Kara does, Markus does, Connor doesn’t but he does upgrade to be able to sample food more effectively for Hank’s benefit.
