Here’s the finished piece of those finches I started painting last night.  I’m not really used to doing birds, or any animals really, so it was a fun experiment.

It hit me yesterday that I’m not going to be living in this house for much longer.  This has been my favourite place I’ve ever lived and leaving is very bittersweet. 

what can I say, I like fruit.

A friend posted thisold Deviant Art meme and an updated bonus panel on her twitter the other day, and I just had to make one too.

I actually never had a Deviant Art account (shocker!) but I have always been obsessed with really self-indulgent memes and drawing pictures of my very own self.

This was actually a really fun exercise; I had to really think hard to remember things I wore at nine and even thirteen, and it opened my eyes to a lot of the things I am doing now without really realizing it.  

I think I learned that I’ve always been a little bit masc and a lot bit lazy, and that I’m probably never going to be put together and look purposefully dressed.

Trix’s full family; only some appear in the comic and all very sparingly, but I love them all.

The dog never appears in-comic, which is a tragedy frankly.

Recently I went to the land of the Amber Waves of Grain with my two good friendsLanaiaandJasmine and I made some comics about it.

I drew a new cast photo today, just felt like seein’ these brats together again.

Here’s a couple of the commissions I ended up doing for people!  Both were really fun; I always like drawing cute girls in love, and the 1960′s sweaters on the boys were the BEST - look at those huge shirt collars!
