Hükümetlerimizi umursamaz, ideolojilerimizi, inançlarımızı… her zaman pusuda bekler. Bu, sonunda, Çernobil'in hediyesi. Bir zamanlar, gerçeğin bedelinden korkuyordum… Şimdi sadece şunu soruyorum: ‘Yalanların bedeli nedir?’

PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE (Paul Thomas Anderson, 2002)

I re-watched Punch-Drunk Love over the weekend after having not seen ti for quite some time. I had forgotten what a wonderfully weird and totally engaging movie this is. And, yes, Adam Sandler gives a great performance in this movie.

If you’re a Hugo Weaving fan or, especially, a David Wenham fan, you have to watch this movie.

Incredibly sad - because it’s a true story - but David Wenham, Hugo Weaving and Emily Watson are soooo good it’s totally worth it.

Hang in there with David Wenham’s character, Len. He begins the movie as as a real asshole but by the end you just love him.
