So I tried out my kiln enamelling the other day, I had a blast, looking through that little window wondering what you’re going to get is really fun…..what I got however was mostly a burnt mess these are the worst pieces, I got my tester colour pieces done and a few playful copper pendants that I’ll snap a picture of later, but after pretty much not touching it for the best part of a decade and being a beginner even back then, I think it’s safe to say lots more practice required!

Haven’t fired my poor ignored kiln in at least as long as we’ve been in this house, which Facebook told me this week is 8 years!!! So we’re nearly there to do some test colour pieces and then decide what colours are going on the bits I have aiming for 850 degrees, nearly there.
