I LOVE gouache paintings, but I struggled a ton with it the first (and last) time I tried. Yesterday I ended up watching a bunch of videos by James Gurney on his painting process and was inspired to try again.

Really happy with how this came out, especially considering that I didn’t use any references (probably should have tbh)
