#environment painting

LIVE

Some gloomy vibes for this one. For a few weeks this was the general mood of most of my paintings, I kinda miss doing pieces like this one.

A Stardew Valley inspired animation of the Secret Woods that I made a little while ago.

One of my first attempts at animating anything, but I thought it added that little something extra to it :)

Deep under The Pinnacle in the town of Amisos Falls lies The Sanctum, a chamber that holds The Heart of all magic. It purifies and supplies magic to The Pinnacle and the rest of Amisos Falls. It is very ancient and no one in recorded history has been in the chamber. Its only recorded existence is told among townsfolks as myths and legends.

Welcome to Amisos Falls, a fantasy-Greek inspired fishing town by the sea where magic of life and death is known to all who resides there.

I’ll be posting more about this project in the future after my final submission :>

WIP ! Felt inspired to draw/paint a background–it’s been a fun process and hoping to finish tomorrow :) I almost never do paintings like this, especially of environments (let’s face it, I almost always just draw characters haha..) But this has been surprisingly relaxing to work on, even if I’m slow at it (this is about 4 hours of work..), but hopefully speed, proficiency and skill will come with practice :)

Speedpaint. I like practicing speed painting with environments. The lighting, trees, and colors are
