Vigaro Modern Classics 40th Editions - celebrating female writers ✨
Finished reading Jasmine Guillory’s debut novel. I had decided to pick up this one after having read her follow-up novel, The Proposal. Although I liked the second book’s plot better, The Wedding Date will not fail to give you the feels over Alexa and Drew. If you are a huge romantic comedy fan and is just not satisfied enough with the slew of rom-com films in recent years, then this novel is definitely for you! I was never much into romance novels (because I agree, they do not always have the greatest plots and characterization), but The Wedding Date will definitely fulfill your light-read craving… and make you wonder, how is it not a Netflix movie yet?

The graphic artist Rachel Ignotofsky has had a remarkable success these last years.
I stumbled on this book of hers, “What’s Inside a Flower”, but I have already ordered some others and eagerly await her book on the birth of computers which gets released this month.
These volumes are probably children’s books but the quality of her work makes that irrelevant.

Having discovered the graphic artist Rachel Ignotofsky recently, I ordered two more books of hers: “Women in Art” and “Women in Science” (2021).
To my surprise, both volumes contain lots of names I didn’t know. (Wikipedia came in handy.)
