this is based off baba yaga folklore but adjusted more as a big creepy witch lady who helps out fledgling witches who are starting out. you need spell books? she got it. you need pots and shit full of magic junk? she got it. she’s your one stop shop forest lady!

the final illustration from a sketch i posted on IG quite a while ago. it was an assignment for my photoshop class! this is mostly based on my love for outdoor markets in all regions. I miss the feeling of accompanying my mother on these trips when i was growing up in hong kong, checking to see what was fresh or what was on sale and the like.

i’m going to be part of an upcoming exhibition called “HEROES AND VILLAINS” on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014!
The show will be held at Ouchi Gallery ((located on 170 Tillary Street, Suite 105, Brooklyn NY 11201) The reception is from 7-10pm, and the show will be up from Nov.25-Dec.1!
