“Make it sturdy, but keep it beautiful,” said furniture and interior designer Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, one of the main sources of inspiration for my latest Art Deco build. I very much enjoy working on this project not only because it’s so glamorous, but also because I find this historical period oddly fascinating with its harmful hedonism that lies at the heart of its ostentatiously opulent lifestyle.

I am Art Deco, Art Deco is me.

So what exactly happens at 5:55?

Not much of a wedding person myself, but looking at this made me feel things.

So what have I been working on lately? My Nordic concept room, or what has become of it. I want to be able to capture the essence of Hygge that you may have read about from the internet, the Danish idea of creating a warm and cosy atmosphere.

Happy#TransDayOfRemembrance my friends far and wide! I wish I had more to show today like I always have during Pride month, but then I remembered I actually made a Transgender Pride version of the rainbow flag back then that I also posted here. Now I made some stairs based on my current work in progress from the other day. I hope you like it!

I find it so funny that after everything I’ve built in this game, it took me this long to consider Scandinavian design despite having so much first-hand knowledge of it. I’m also trying to make it a little Christmassy!

I was working on a ceiling concept some weeks ago and finally came back to put some walls around it! Currently working on several projects at once, one of them being based on this concept.

Feeling like doing more minimalist design with some peach tones using black and white as accents. I always have so much fun doing modern!

Happy Pride Month fellow housing enthusiasts! I wanted to make a Pride-inspired housing concept much like last year to show off my colours and spread more positivity because who doesn’t like rainbows! I’ve been working on this showroom piece for about two or three weeks and wanted to see what I can come up with, from a simple 2 item slot clock to a much more complicated 20 item slot painting, and ended up with something that looks like a new Sims 4 stuff pack.

I always say my concept builds can be anything, but this time I even surprised myself by really wanting to create my own interpretation of an old Western saloon. Who would have thought? I blame the saloon doors! I just love new and bigger challenges, and often the best and most exciting ones come from plunging yourself into the unknown and fully embracing it. I have literally never even thought of making a Western saloon, and certainly have only little knowledge of them, so wish me luck!

I can’t believe how much progress I’ve made over the past few months. This has to be the biggest, most ambitious housing project I’ve had since last August and I hope from the bottom of my heart that I’ll have it finished for Tchaikovsky’s birthday.
