#flowey the flower

:> some semi-realistic Sans and Flowey doodles I did a few days ago~ Watching Deltarune gave me nostalgia so I went back and watched Sean’s playthrough of Undertale. :)
They have a lot in common, I think.

Just your average couple of kids trick or treating! ;) don’t worry, they’re not as scary as they look

Frisk is on the lower centre. They are wearing a vampire costume with fake fangs and a red cape. Frisk is holding up an orange, pumpkin shaped container to the camera. Wrapped around the pumpkin is a few of Flowey’s vines.
Flowey is to the left of Frisk. His face is upsidown and he was put on a creepy face. His eyes are blacked out and dripping black goo. His smile is similarly goopy. he is wrapped around Frisk however, only a few vines are visible.
Chara is floating bove both Flowey and Frisk. They have their normal striped jumper on. Their left hand in holding onto Frisk’s head. The other is behind Flowey’s head and is loosly holding a red magic knife. Chara’s eyes and mouth are black and goopy like they are in jump scare at the end of Undertale. They smiling and their face and hands are the only parts that are well lit.
All three characters are lit with bright warm lights coming from the house they are trick or treating. There rest of their bodies melt into the dark background. Frisk is the most well lit and Chara is primarily in shadow.

been listening to the concert
An art project I did last year.
It’s basically a self portrait.
In honor of Undertale’s 6th Anniversary, I’ll post this lad early:
Introducing the star of FluxTale…
Flux!
Oh boy is this little guy chock-full of determination! (Hence the melting).
You’ll learn more about his whole melty deal later. But here’s what I can say now:
- His petals glow faintly. The more determined he is, the brighter the glow. If he’s really determined, his eyes light up.
- The only reason he melts at all is because a small percentage of him is made of monster magic. And that percentage is only affected because of the sheer amount of determination in him.
- He isn’t liquid, or falling apart. He’s like… melted marshmallow? A non-newtonian flower.
- He’s very happy with his new look. It’s creepy, and he hates being cute.
I love this drippy ol’ fella and I’m so happy to be able to share him with you

Taking a break from FluxTale for a couple weeks to catch up on my enormous to-do list.
But I’m still drawing the boy. Mostly this version, so I thought I’d give him a formal introduction.
Image Text: Flowey with Robot Body (Flowey Ex?) ((Floweyton??)
• Flowey leverages Alphys’ guilt over his creation to get her to build it.
• Since he has less magic than a monster, the body is partially powered by Determination.
• Flowey chose to grow his own arms, since the mechanical arms had no feeling and were somewhat difficult to move.
• He’s self-conscious about the cactus-y nature of his arms. They seem abnormal to him compared to his old arms, and bring back unpleasant memories of his Omega form.
• He wears gloves to hide them, and to avoid hurting anyone/anything with his thorns.

Check it out, a new Sans just dropped.
I think future chapters are mostly gonna look like that top section. Kind of a storybook format with game-style texts boxes, with more comic-y sections for scenes with more movement.
